From start to finish I've been working with a great sales co This review covers my experience during the time I'd been leasing a 2016 Cadillac ELR. From start to finish I've been working with a great sales consultant by the name of Mark Lindwall. Mark has been very friendly, open, and super willing to answer any questions I had. When my lease ended on the ELR in April 2019, he even offerred to give me a ride back to my office. When the time came to get a new vehicle, I wanted a fully electric hatchback. Mark took the time to get me in touch with a Sales Consultant with their Chevrolet dealership so I could check out some of the Bolt EVs (which is my new car as of writing this). During the course of my lease, Mark always took the time to check in periodically to touch base with me and see how things were going. The service department was exceptional. Service Appointments were prompt and anytime they needed a few hours with my car they were quick to have a temporary ready for me to drive off in. Everyone has been great to deal with and really friendly. Overall, if you're looking for a vehicle, I would very much recommend stopping by Cadillac of Bellevue and seeing what they have on offer. On a type of purchase that’s as big as a car, I won’t even set foot on a car lot unless there’s a few months of research already under my belt. In my experience, I know more about a particular car then the salesman who is trying to sell me the car does. I don’t do this to “one-up” the sales guy, I don’t do this to try and win a spec-battle with the sales guy, and most of the time, I don’t even acknowledge that I know so much about the car I’m there to see. Thanks for reading, and I’d like the chance to explain why working with Rick Qaqish from Cadillac of Bellevue was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in my car-buying history. Six months ago, I met Rick via the online chat protocol that Cadillac of Bellevue has set up. I reached out with a simple question about something they had in stock. To my surprise, I was chatting with someone who was actually located at the dealership. I was totally expecting to be routed to a call-center of sorts; you know, some cubical-laden office somewhere on the corporate campus, with a team that specifically field’s internet requests, and responds to them. But no, Rick was on-site, and he was personally familiar with the car I was inquiring about. Rick was very knowledgeable about his inventory. Although he’s worked in auto sales for a while, he came from the real estate industry. As he explained it, real estate is very disclosure heavy and is a very important part of the way that industry conducts business. It’s clear that Rick transferred that approach to the way he conducts himself to auto sales. His transparency of his knowledge, of the process, and of what it takes to get a deal done, is a refreshing approach the auto sales experience. By proxy, Cadillac of Bellevue is a straight forward, honest dealership to do business with. The level of respect garnered, and trust built as a result of this approach is what separates this experience from all others for me. I’m sure some people reading this could say to themselves, “well this guy got duped! He fell hook, line and sinker for this car salesman. Not only did he sign a deal, but they have him fooled so well that he wrote a review on the internet in their favor! That salesman is probably laughing all the way to the bank!” I assure you, I didn’t. I was simultaneously working with 2 other dealerships, and an auto-broker. If you don’t know, an auto-broker is like a freelance car salesman. He/she has many relationships at the auto-maker level and their local wholesalers. You can typically find better deals than you can at the dealership. Not only did Rick beat all the other dealerships, but even the broker (who didn’t know Rick’s name, and had no affiliation to Cadillac of Bellevue, thus no incentive to try and get me to do business there) told me that Rick’s deal was excellent, and that she wasn’t going to be able to beat it. In my opinion, that speaks volumes to how Rick’s deal was written and it affirms the honest character Rick had been portraying the whole time. For me, the experience with Rick and Cadillac of Bellevue was hassle-free, it was pleasurable, it was pressure-less, and it was fair. I can, with 100% certainty, recommend Cadillac of Bellevue and Rick Qaqish. More
