Hard working people Hi Cable Dahmer Chevrolet in Kansas City ! Just wanted to let you know it was great working with, People that work extremely hard and really all in Hi Cable Dahmer Chevrolet in Kansas City ! Just wanted to let you know it was great working with, People that work extremely hard and really all in my behalf. I banged around a bit and had driven a bevy of really nice vehicles. And Bingo !!!!! I bought a extremely nice car from Cable Dahmer and received a fair trade in value for my vehicle. It was well after normal business hours and this place was rocking. I return the following day. And was once again greeted with warm genuine people. Wait it gets better.... the only thing I was not able to fit in my Busy schedule was food. I run up the stairs and had a incredible lunch beverage and sno-cone. This is a true family business and all of the employees Treat this business like it was there own. That being said please feel free to use me as a referral. Almost left out a couple of details...... If you ever have purchased a car or truck the end was always as painful as the beginning mountains of carbon super duplicate forms and contracts that were no good with even a single typo etc. Not to mention the effect it had on our planet. Both pre and post production. Bingo !!!! This great dealership is set up sweet with what I will call very cool touchscreen table tops That make NCIS jealous they have to wait to have. Something this cool. The finance dept from the Independence store and top brass were at 103 street some for training on the above technology. I tell you the independence store is full of great people ! And guess who 30 min later greets me after I figured Out I needed to get tools to remove my old plates Saturday shop closed Yes the top brass from Independence store Smiled with a little perspiration on his brow. The biggest boss in the entire operation w exception of owners. Had not forgotten , had not stopped trying To personally remove my tags from my trade. He tapped me on the shoulder and said here John I was able to get them off of truck. Now wait another great employee this was not even his store. And was a super nice hard working team player that went way out of his way to accommodate me. Ok ...Back to the huge Touch screen and the super nice finance manager from Independence store Who just by luck was at store on 103 as my car was at the Indie address originally . Special thanks to the entire staff at the Indie store At that time I realized this is another process to help this great company grow and keep up with technology which trickles down to become “My cup of coffee” Thank you. Our money wasn't good here? My husband and I went in this past Saturday and test drove a Nissan Xterra that we had driven across town specifically to see. It was later in the day and we still had one more stop before deciding on which car to buy. We expressed our deep interest in the vehicle with the salesman and went home to discuss the purchase. On Monday morning my husband calls as soon as the dealership opens to set up an appointment to do the necessary paperwork to purchase the vehicle at 5:30 PM. At 5:20 we are well on our way across town to the dealership prepared to buy the car when we receive a call from the salesman asking if we are still coming, we tell him yes and that we are right down the street. He tells us that there is another customer interested in the car and that he will try to save it for us. We wondered after ending the call if this was some sort of sales tactic, but continued over to the dealership to our appointment. Why call about another customer less than 10 minutes before we get there? When arriving the salesman is eager to take a look at our trade in, and my husband and I are more concerned as to whether or not the vehicle is still available. After asking around for a minute we find out that there was a deposit put down on it 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL from someone online out of Colorado. We understand business is business, however when you have a local, a potential returning customer, wanting to purchase a vehicle who already has an appointment to do so, why sell it or "promise" it to someone else? When we made our appointment to purchase the car, it should have been taken off the lot and set aside until we had our chance. We weren't even asked if we would like to place a deposit or make an offer. Never mind the fact that this was all information that could have saved us a trip across town had it been relayed over the phone. Not only did you miss out on a local customer, but you missed out on a sale. This is very sad & quite frankly poor business practice. After that we took our business elsewhere and bought an Xterra that same night. More
