My sales consultant went above & beyond, to try to get this deal done. when we arrived at an agreement/ as far as my trade & the price of the purchase vehicle,I was told that 3 repairs (that the sales get this deal done. when we arrived at an agreement/ as far as my trade & the price of the purchase vehicle,I was told that 3 repairs (that the sales consultant said would be repaired/ during the negoatiations process),were not going to happen. Stan said his boss (the used car manager), would not take care of theese repairs, based on him dropping the price of the vehicle, to get this deal done.I was not happy with hearing this, especialy after letting my sales consultant know what was my dollar amount/up front, when I initialy came in for the first time.I also let Stan know, that I would rather walk away,if they did'nt have something in that price range,instead of having a bad car buying expierence. After Stan making numerous atempts/by phone & messaging,(with him arriving at my initial price)I returned to the dealership,to finalize the deal.I requested that Marty Dahmer,hear my concerns,before I would decide to walk away. Mr. Dahmer,was very concerned & very proactive,in making sure the repairs to the purchase vehicle,were done in a timely manor. Because of his intervention & his excellent customer service skills/I can truly say,my purchase ezperience,ended on a good note.I also would like to thank the service dept. for their excellent quality of workmanship,in handeling the repairs & their professionalism.Sincerely, Joseph Jones. I WENT INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET REPAIRS ON ANOTHER CAR,AND WAS APPROACHED BY CHRISTINA THE SALES PERSON, WHO WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL ASKED IF I WAS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING ANOTHER CAR. After spending several hours brousing other dealers for a new car for my wife, we visited Cable Dahmer Chevrolet in Kansas City, Mo. It turned out to be the best decision I made that day. Jeff Davis ap new car for my wife, we visited Cable Dahmer Chevrolet in Kansas City, Mo. It turned out to be the best decision I made that day. Jeff Davis approached us and asked if he could help us. When I explained that I was looking for a new vehicle for my wife, Jeff turned his attention to her and asked questions as to the type of vehicle and features she desired in a new vehicle. Jeff was never pushy nor high-pressure oriented as I found other sales persons to be at deealerships we had visited earlier that day. Jeff made a list of my wife's "wish list" in a vehicle and showed us a small group of vehicles that best matched what she was looking for in a vehicle. Jeff then allowed us to drive the vehicles and asked us to "take our time" and make sure we found what we were looking for. After my wife chose a vehicle (Chevrolet Traverse LT) was very close to what she was looking for, Jeff then showed her the features of the vehicle and answered all her questions. Once my wife and I agreed that the vehicle was what she was looking for, I then asked Jeff for the best deal on that vehicle (we were buying outright with no trade in vehicle). Jeff asked us some questions about ourselves to ensure that he would help us take advantage of any additional discounts or incentives. Jeff then showed us the best deal he could make us and I was very happy to see the deal to be the best among all dealerships we had visited thus far. My wife and I decided to purchase the vehicle. We then met Brian Crowley, the General Sales Manager; and Larry Van Zandt, Finance Manager. Both Brian and Larry were friendly, helpful, and eager to please. Brian pledged to do anything he could do to help us in our experience before and after the sale. Larry took us through several options on our financing plans and we chose the plan that was best for us and saved us the most in finance charges and payment plans. Jeff offered to have the vehicle detailed, cleaned, gassed up and ready to go within an hour. My wife and I went to a late lunch and sure enough, upon our return, the vehicle was ready. I've purchased many vehicles over the years from several dealers in several states, and I have to see that this experience with Jeff and the team at Cable-Dahmer was far and away the best overall experience. The atmosphere was friendly, helpful, and clean (even though the dealership was in obvious remodel, the sales floor and finance areas were clean and inviting). But it was the people that made a lasting impression on my wife and me - I have already shared my wonderful experience with many of my friends and associates and I have recommended to all that they visit Cable-Dahmer and ask for Jeff when they're ready to buy a new or used vehicle. My feeling is that the staff at Cable-Dahmer genuinely care about the customer and will support the customer before, during, and after the sale. As a footnote, there were some accessories for the vehicle that Jeff was unable to provide us on our day of purchase (Saturday) due to some construction issues in the stockroom / parts area. Jeff promised to send us those accessories as soon as possible, but he did even better - he personally delivered the parts to my wife at our home early the next week. Also, during the finance discussion, Larry made us aware of additional savings and special services that we were eligible for due to our credit rating. He explained the benefits and allowed us to make the decisions. In short, Jeff and Larry went beyond my expectations in ensuring a great experience for me and my wife. I am now a "raving fan" of Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet. I plan on visiting there first for any future vehicle need and will continue to highly recommend Jeff and the team to my friends and contacts. I just had all 4 tires replaced on my 2001 Chevy Cavalier. I was worried they would try to sell me a ton repairs on my car and my ticket would be 9 miles long. I was pleasantly surprised that my purchase was a very good price and they repaired a part for me instead of making me replace it! I need a new exhaust system and they recommended an exhaust shop instead of their dealership, to help me save money.
