Excellent and Honest experience First of all I can say enough good things about this experience. I knew going in, I would be spending around $1200 however in the end I didn't need pa First of all I can say enough good things about this experience. I knew going in, I would be spending around $1200 however in the end I didn't need part of the items on the estimate (from the first place), so it was down to $600. John Price kept me updated the whole time on things. They gave me a rental car since I need to go to work. The prices were cheaper then the first place I had been too. one of the items I didn't need to replace and John said there is no need to replace it when its not broke. John knows his stuff and trust me I have millions of questions but he always answers them and is very patient. If you want it done right go to cable dahmer. I have bought 3 cars from them and this car I have always brought back for any service to be done. I only went to the other place because it was a family friends business- I should have know to go with Cable Dahmer since they have always done the right thing and prices are reasonable and competitive with other places. Oh well lesson learned. I will only be going to Cable Dahmer from now on. You definitely have great workers at 103rd and State line!!! More

It started off well, but it changed along the way. First, event though I didn't receive the service I intended to obtain, John started off doing his job probably as well as he could. The service manager did not bother to provide me with his name. I brought my car to Cable-Dahmer on 103rd street because I was having transmission problems. After my car had been there for six business days (plus two weekend), I was informed that the service department was unable to tell me when they could get to my vehicle and I could pick it up and take it elsewhere for service. Believing there must be some misunderstanding because certainly no certified,vehicle selling dealership would suggest that I leave my vehicle there for an indefinite amount of time, I asked to speak to the service manager. The service manager was beyond rude and basically indicated that he in fact had no clue how long it would be before they could evaluate my vehicle. I asked if he had a supervisor to which he informed me that yes he did but it did not matter who I spoke with, that I could speak to Barack Obama and that wouldn't get my vehicle looked at any sooner. Now, I am Black American and I don't want to make any assumptions about why he would make such a statement to a customer that is simply trying to understand why their vehicle hasn't been looked at after an entire six business days but the level of rudeness and audacity displayed by this manager is beyond understanding. If an organization is unable to provide a service, just indicate so or provide a reasonable solution or recommendation to get the problem resolved. Realizing that this service manager had no intention on making service recovery (a customer service concept), I ultimately had my car towed to another dealership that can provide reasonable estimates about the ability to actually diagnose and repair my car. I'll never return to Cable Dahmer which is a shame because I've purchased a car from them in the past and they have great mechanics that will work to get your car right. More
unprofessional I took my car in for a check engine light. After a day and half Trevor said they couldnt find anything that needed to be done right now and the car w I took my car in for a check engine light. He said I had to pay a 50 diagnostic fee and I questioned it because the vehicle is under power trained warranty. He got mad because I asked questioned he said I could come get the car and he would leave the engine light on. That is rude and seem like you purposely want to mess with my vehicle because he mad. He can't be trusted and is rude. More
Parts Deparment I can not express how pleased I am with the Parts Department that I deal with here! The sales rep that I deal with (Mike Moore) is very knowledgeable I can not express how pleased I am with the Parts Department that I deal with here! The sales rep that I deal with (Mike Moore) is very knowledgeable, reliable, and extremely helpful when trying to find hard to locate parts. My order is normally delivered to my shop within 24 hours. Billing is correct, and all the product is there. I wish more companies went to the great lengths they do to provide superb customer service as they do at Cable-Dahmer of Kansas City. More
Above and Beyond! I went to pick up my title and get gas and spots cleaned off of the floor mat of my car. Nick was the one that was available to take me for the gas b I went to pick up my title and get gas and spots cleaned off of the floor mat of my car. Nick was the one that was available to take me for the gas but was going to take me to detailing for the floor mat first. We drove around and offered me a free car was first, which I accepted.....who wouldn't? When we went to the detailing garage, there was no one there. Nick hopped out, went in through another door, opened the garage door and took care of me himself. He could have said that I needed to come back another day, but he didn't. He grabbed what he needed, a brush and cleaned it up. Put some paper mats down to protect the wet mats then came back out with some tire bright and even sprayed the tires to make them shine! He went above and beyond what he was required to do! He had excellent customer service the entire time. We were able to talk about movies, our children and even the shows we grew up watching (we are only a few years apart in age). He then took me to get gas in my car, gave me a firm handshake and well wishes and I was on my way. I can't say enough about his excellent service. I really thought I would have to come back when detailing was open. Cable Dahmer really does have some of the best people! More
