I met Jacob Clinton, salesman at Cable-Dahmer Cheverolet in Independence, while meandering around their parking lot one Saturday afternoon and lucky for me he was NOT the stereotypical salesman. I am a Woman, was on a tight budget, had no clue what I wanted, and comepletly exhausted from looking at cars all day so needless to say I was a salesmans worst nightmare come true. I spent a couple of hours that day at the dealership talking to Jacob about what I did and did not want in my car and he graciously gave up his time to answer all of my questions and addressed every concern I could have about purchasing a car. Just the fact that he took out that much time of his day to talk with me when he could have been selling a car to someone else means alot (most salesman would have ran the other direction). I walked away from the dealership that day empty handed but only to return that following Monday because I received a call from Jacob saying he had found a car he would like for me to see. I had searched all weekend and was planning on looking at another dealership that night but I went ahead and stopped by and Thank Goodness I did.
