Purchasing a new vehicle is one of my least favorite activities. With that said, I was so pleased with the service we recieved from Cabe Toyota. From my first contact with Dan Duddridge it was very clear that he was interested in getting us an SUV that would fit the needs of our family and our pocket book. He had the vehicle we were looking for in stock and did all he could to make our buying experience as stress free as possible. At the dealership, we were helped by Rod. What a great guy! He took the time to answer all of our questions and did not make us feel the pressure usually associated with "car salesmen". Once we purchased the vehicle, he even gave our young son a toy. What a nice gesture. I would recommend Cabe Toyota to anyone I know looking for a vehicle. We are looking to purchase another vehicle in the near future, and know right where to go. I shopped around online & was referred to Cabe Toyota. I called Cabe Toyota & spoke with Charlie Ellison. He asked me what I was interested in purchasing & a rough idea of how much I wanted to spend. I set up an appointment with him for one night after I got off work. That same night he showed me a car he thought I would like &, sure enough, it was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the car that same night & it only took a few hours. When the time comes when I am in need of another car I will definitely go to Cabe Toyota first. It was a very plesant experience for me. More
Dan is the Man! For my 2010 Prius, I looked hi and low for the best price and quickest delivery date. Dan Duddridge beat the price and delivery date of all competing dealers. I have purchased two vehicles from Cabe. My top reason for recommending them is this...When you go through Toyota.com and build your vehicle then ask for quotes via email, Cabe is the only dealer who gave for recommending them is this...When you go through Toyota.com and build your vehicle then ask for quotes via email, Cabe is the only dealer who gave me a quote. The rest just tried to get me to come in. Why offer a quote online option if the dealers won't give you one? I realize it's a starting point only, but Cabe was right on. More
I have been shopping for a Matrix with side curtain airbags. This option is not offered in California, so my situation is a bit unique. Most dealerships would not even engage me in a discussion of gett airbags. This option is not offered in California, so my situation is a bit unique. Most dealerships would not even engage me in a discussion of getting a car with side air. Cabe did talk to me via email, but they were very evasive. I would ask for one thing, and they would email me back with an offer that had little to do with the features I actually wanted. I was in Long Beach one afternoon, so I stopped into the dealership. The sales manager was quite friendly. He said he could get the car for me via a special order. He told me, however, that it would cost $700 over MSRP. That seemed excessive to me, but I didn't comment on that. Instead, I shrugged my shoulders as if to say, "Whatever." Then he asked if I wanted to give him a down payment. I told him no (He hadn't even quoted me an actual price on the vehicle or found out for sure that he could get the vehicle for me). He said he would check on to see if he could get it and that he would call me with a quote. He never called me back. My feeling is that if he didn't want to fill a special order for me, he should have said so from the get-go. Maybe he was hoping he could sell me something he had on hand. I'll never know, but the whole experience just wasted my time and energy. I would not recommend this dealership to others. More
