Ron has even followed-up with me to find out if "everything is going well with the Prius" and if I had any additional questions. Ron was even in touch with me on his day off because I was picking up my car while he was out of the office, and wanted to help make sure everything would go smoothly. Overall a great experience.....our first one buying a new vehicle. Did my research on the price and talked to about 15 different dealerships from San Diego to LA. After the purchase of our vehicle, Kenny was very helpful in taking us step-by-step through all of the features, explaining where each was located and how they worked. We were very happy with this service as we have not had this experience with other car dealers. Quality of Work: Did not apply to us as we were making a new car purchase. Friendliness: Dan, Kenny, and Cristina were all down-to-earth and made us feel comfortable as we worked through the vehicle purchasing process. They had a positive attitude and worked hard to find the vehicle we were looking for. Overall Experience: Purchasing a vehicle is never a pleasant task because of how the industry is designed, but Cabe Toyota's way of conducting business made it a more positive experience. We dealt with eight different Toyota dealerships and we found Cabe Toyota to be the most willing to work with us. Pricing: Negotiating a fair price is the most difficult part of any car buying process. We found Cabe Toyota to work harder than the other dealers to work out a fair price. Everthing went real well. I had a question on the vechicle inspection after I had already purchased it. I wanted to know about the brakes and clutch. I was told by Rod that they were inspected and were in good working order. I ended up taking it to a vw dealer because it was a used beetle and I wanted make sure. They inspected it and everything I was told by Cabe was true. The only thing they found was the timing belt would need to be replaced before too long. But that was to be expected at the mileage I would soon be reaching. I was replaceing the same type and year of car that had more miles and would have faced that anyway. I try not to have unrealistic expectations because it is a 2003 used car and I didn't expect perfection. This was a replacement due to the insurance co. totaling mine. The car was well maintained and very clean. Cabe totally worked with what I had to spend with no big surprises. I was able to pay cash for the car so I don't have any opinion on financeing. I had done a tremendous amount of research on the 2011 Sienna XLE prior to contacting Cabe Toyota. I had contacted over 20 dealers, and while some were friendly, just as many were typical used car salesme Sienna XLE prior to contacting Cabe Toyota. I had contacted over 20 dealers, and while some were friendly, just as many were typical used car salesmen, no one came close to the professionalism of Cabe Toyota. It was the easiest car purchase I have ever made. I sent an Email to Sheri in their internet department and we arranged to meet later that night. When I arrived at Cabe I was greeted by Dan Duddridge the Operations Manager who had already read my email and within 10 minutes of sitting in his office we agreed on a price, and even though the car was rare and hard to find he found the car for me within 2 weeks. Throughout the entire process John called and kept me updated on the progress of finding the car. On the day of the sale I walked in, the price was already set, I filled out a credit application and 15 minutes later with the financing department we sealed the deal. I had my own financing through a credit union and Cabe beat it. Joe was kind enough to spend some time showing me the features of the car and syncing my Droid X phone to the car stereo system.....very cool. I was so impressed, they were all so professional, they didn't waste my time up-selling me, and they kept their word. I am not your average car buyer I had family in the business and I was prepared when I arrived, Cabe never once tried any of the scams other dealers attempted. Cabe was honest and I ended up saving over $1200 off of lowest competitor out of the 20 dealers I contacted. Cabe even beat Edmunds TMV pricing. I can't recommend CABE Toyota of Long Beach highly enough. They have won this buyer and I will tell everyone I know about the experience I had with them. Thank you very much! Don't let their size fool you because the Bigger the Dealer the higher their Mortgage and Operating Expenses and the more you will end of paying to keep their lights on, just do the math and you will see. I was told by 4 dealers that I was taking food out of their kids mouths for the prices I was asking for, but they were all big dealerships and none of them cared that the extra $1500 I would have paid them was taking food out of my kids mouths. Plain and simple they have to charge more to pay for their fancy showroom, and parking structures. Go to Cabe and you won't be disappointed. More
