My old car was about to reach 300,000 miles and it was getting to expensive to maintain, so I decided it was time to get a new car. I visited a few other dealerships before I came to Cabe, but they were a getting to expensive to maintain, so I decided it was time to get a new car. I visited a few other dealerships before I came to Cabe, but they were all either too pushy, not attentive, or just rude. I was actually almost ready to call it a day until I stopped by Cabe Toyota of Long Beach. When I walked onto the lot, Jorge Briones approached me and seemed pleased to help me look around even though I made it very clear that I wasn't necessarily looking to purchase anything that day. I liked that I didn't feel like I was being hustled around by a pushy car salesman, I felt more like a buddy was giving me an informative tour. The car I wanted to see was way over on the other side of the lot, but he showed no hesitation to show it to me. I ended up liking the Scion xD and tC, and couldn't decide which one I liked better. He let me take both for a test drive, and when he saw that I still wasn't sure about which one I liked more, he offered a second test drive. After the second test drive I was certain that I wanted a Scion tC. Once we started the paper work, however, we ran into a few problems. Since I was fairly new out of college and just got my first stable job as a Graphic Designer, by credit was anything but stellar and I couldn't afford too high of a payment since I was also paying rent and student loans. Jorge was still willing to try to work something out and was stressing all options that I could try. It boiled down to the fact that I needed a co-signer, so I asked my mom and she agreed, but only if I went out and looked at other dealers the following morning. I felt discouraged since I was so excited to take my first new car off the lot, but Jorge was optimistic and said "Don't worry, we won't give up on you! Work with us and we will work with you." I went to a few other dealerships that day, and even found the exact Scion that I wanted at a dealership closer to my moms house, but I still found myself back at Cabe Toyota Long Beach with my mom, ready to cosign. My mom likes to play the tough customer when it comes to buying cars, but Jorge still treated her with respect and was very patient. Once we got to Joe Garcia, he settled any uncertainties my mom had about financing. He laid everything out on the table and when my mom asked, "So this is the final agreement, no surprises?" Jorge confidently responded, "Nope. No surprises." He worked with both of us to get a lower interest rate and lower monthly payment than we originally anticipated. This made my mom and myself very happy, especially since I was preparing to live on a very VERY tight budget for the following months. We even managed to get a Zylon treatment and still be within a comfortable payment. The whole process was quick and smooth, and even though we had gotten to the dealership as they were closing, everybody was still very helpful and pleasant. When we finished everything up, Joe congratulated me and Jorge showed me out to my car. They washed my car for me and Jorge had even set up the wireless bluetooth to stream music from my phone. He congratulated me, shook all of our hands and we took off. He smiled and waved at us as we left. My overall experience at Cabe Toyota of Long Beach was very memorable and I was very impressed with their service. The people were great, financing was perfect and I am super happy with my car. My mom was even saying that she will be buying her next car there if she receives the same treatment as I did, which the Cabe team ensured she would. Thanks again! More
I was referred to Cabe Toyota (and two other dealers) by TRUECAR.COM. I planned to purchase a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with a TX package upgrade (a special ordered Tacoma). I knew that my Tacoma needed to be TRUECAR.COM. I planned to purchase a 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with a TX package upgrade (a special ordered Tacoma). I knew that my Tacoma needed to be special ordered with the additional options I wanted. I had no problem waiting for my Tacoma exactly the way I wanted it. The other two dealers just did not get it. They tried to sell me what they had on their lot and one dealer did not even know what a Tacoma with a TX package upgrade was. I spoke to the Cabe Toyota internet sales team Susan and Cristina by email and met once in person. Susan and Cristina got it right the first time and my truck was special ordered. Cristina delivered my Tacoma TX on time and as promised at the TRUECAR.COM guaranteed price. As a consumer, this was an outstanding buying experience, considering my Tacoma was special ordered. Joe was extremely professional and made my final purchase process hassle free. I just wanted to say thank you to Cristina, Susan and Joe their outstanding customer service and no stress buying experience. I highly recommend that if anyone is considering buying a new Toyota to go through TRUECAR.COM and use Cabe Toyota as their preferred dealer. However, last week I walked into the dealership asking for their very-best final price on a car. I asked this same question of several Toyota dealers in my area. We ended up buying the car at the price we were quoted. I was given truthful answers to questions that I asked, which fact I value. Also, there was no apparent attempt to pad the quotation, which I saw elsewhere. Although it did not materially affect this sale, a friend of ours was very pleased recently when she bought a used car from Cabe. She too had very much appreciated the friendly no-pressure approach. Today I bought my fifth car at Cabe, a hybrid Camry. Charlie Ellison worked with us before on our other vehicle purchases. Cabe was by far the best dealer I came into contact with while researching and buying a Sienna. I spent a few weeks researching and getting quotes when I was finally put in touch with Cabe via a third part while researching and buying a Sienna. I spent a few weeks researching and getting quotes when I was finally put in touch with Cabe via a third party site. I am so glad that I found them! Cabe emailed me the lowest quote of any dealer. They sent me a single email and left me one message. They were friendly, straightforward, and not at all pushy like some of the other dealers I came into contact with. I did some research online and they had really good reviews so I decided to give them a try. I was in contact with Tina and her manager Christina Morales. They answered all my questions and provided me with the OTD price via email. They found me the exact car I was looking for, which according to most dealers was hard to find without the DVD player which I didn't want. The one they did find had about $400 worth of extras that I didn't want. I told them that it was more than I could pay, so they offered me that car with the extras for the same price they quoted me originally. I made an appointment to in on Saturday. I continued emailing about details with Christina and she was responding to my questions up until 11pm!!!!! The next day I drove down to Long Beach and met with Christina. She was super friendly and personable. She showed me the car and we got down to business. We filled out paperwork and everything was as promised. We met with the finance person (I think his name was Joe) and he too was incredibly friendly and easy going. He told us about the extended warranty, we said that we didn't want it, and he said ok. I felt absolutely no pressure to buy anything else and left paying the OTD price I was quoted by Christina from the beginning. After the paperwork was complete, Christina accompanied us to the car to help us set up the Bluetooth and apps on the navigation system. She was super helpful and incredibly sweet. I could not be more happy with my car or my car buying experience. Cabe is a small, family owned business and you can tell that they care about their customers and their satisfaction. They offer the most competitive prices I could find and were true to their word. I recommend them to ANYONE in the market for a Toyota and I will gladly go back anytime I need another car. More
