I wish there was a minus rating. I bought a Bentley Molsanne from them. I live in AZ. I was told the car is ready. I took a flight to Houston and upon arrival they told me it wasn't ready due to a suspension shock. They put me in a hotel for the night. The next day it wasn't ready. They told me to take it to Bentely in Scottsdale to fix the issue and that they would pay for it. They called Bentley in Scottsdale and set it up. I left at 5p on Saturday. They closed at 4. Not even 20 miles later the check engine light came on stating a fuel temperature sensor. I texted the sales person the next morning about it. I then took the car to scottsdale and was told that i had to pay $1000 for the diagnosis which I did. Then I was told it was $7500 for the shock repair. And $15000 for the fuel sensor replacement CRU had me ship the car back to them. I paid $1200 to ship the car back. They had it since September 9. I just got it back yesterday11/18. For over two months. They lied and lied and lied and keep saying they received defective parts and had to return them etc. they told me the check engine light was not there problem after I drove away from the dealership. They committed to fixing the shock however as soon as the car came off the truck the same shock issue popped up. Can't use any driving modes, can't do any cruise control or driver assist, and the check engine light still on. For over three months, my registration and title was not done. They dropped the ball on that too. I made two payments on the car while it was in there garage. Very dishonest people. Now my attorney will handle it. I wouldn't wish this process on anyone. Oh one more thing. Fraudulent sale that will be reported to the attorney general. The car was advertised with 50,*** miles however it had 59000 when I got there. They told me that the photos posted were from the last time they sold it and they didnt want to pay another fee for auto trader. More

CRU flat out lied to me. And upcharged me for the privilege. I purchased a 2017 Mercedes SL550 from them. When I was negotiating on it I noticed that the price had jumped up the week before. When I asked why I was told, “Yes, we updated the vehicle's price. When it arrived, we discovered a leak in the right shock that needed to be fixed. Initially, the parts were going to cost $4,000, but we got it for $2,000 and added this amount to the car's price.” (Quoted from the email). I was fine with this as Mercedes parts aren’t cheap, especially on an ABC equipped vehicle (a well known Mercedes issue). Then I was told that shipping was delayed because they had found (apparently another) shock that needed replacing and they were doing that. When it arrived and I took it to my shop for an oil change you can imagine my surprise (and anger) when I learned that no struts/shocks had been replaced as all were still the original factory installed equipment, that one in the front and one in the back were actively leaking, and that they had been for some time. Obviously CRU knew this but did nothing about it despite telling me they had and passing the cost on too me in the price to account for that work. To add insult to injury, the brake pads were gone all the way around and damaging the rotors (necessitating new all around), the timing cover was leaking oil, the cold air intakes were literally falling apart (what I took as high temperature tape from the pictures of one intake was actually literal tin-foil placed on the top of the intake tube and tucked into the split open tube), the center console doors were broken and so was the sunblind shade. A basic inspection would’ve revealed these things and I assumed that a company that had such good reviews in other online places would’ve taken care of that and that I could rely on their transparency and good faith. That wrong assumption on my part earned me a $25,000.00 repair bill for a car that I’ve literally driven less than 15 miles since purchase. Lesson learned. Bottom line- caveat emptor, get a pre-purchase inspection, and do not trust CRU Automotive. More
