They are informative and kept me up to date on what was happening as they worked on my vehicle. They explain in detail what needs to be done and how much costs will be. Nate was very helpful and called to get clarity on the issue. This experience is exactly what I'd expect from a dealership, they definitely went above and beyond what was necessary. I had started at the Umansky Honda in Cville, but I'll be bringing my vehicle here from now on. More
Great Experience and excited about my new car I had a great experience with the whole process from being greeted when I pulled in the parking lot to signing papers and leaving with my car. Update Christian was helpful at finding me a good vehicle for my needs. Not only did he find me a good vehicle, but he also put extra effort into explaining Christian was helpful at finding me a good vehicle for my needs. Not only did he find me a good vehicle, but he also put extra effort into explaining and helping me understand the process as a first time buyer. Update: Tl;dr: xxxxty customer service, didn't care much after the sale was made, would not recommend, tried to give them a second chance to show me that my experience with them was not typical and just a slight mistake, and Christian said he has nothing to do with the service department and that I should contact the service department directly For the long story, continue reading. There was an original deal made between me and Ben (who signed papers instead of Christian since he wasn't there on the day I signed papers) that the driver's side headlamp would get a replacement due to condensation and the passenger side would get buffed out to match the new replacement. Since I recently moved cities, I made an appointment to come in at a later date. Ben told me to let him know the week of my appoint that I am still coming to make sure he had the part ready to be replaced. I called both Ben and Christian 5 days before my scheduled appointment to make sure everything was in line. I arrived at the dealer at the appointment time, and Christian told me that there was not a part to replace my light but he'll take the car over and figure it out. I didn't hear from him for a while, and 3 hours later, Christian came by and said thank you and that I shouldn't ever have a problem like this again and that my car is taken care of. A few minutes later, another guy led me back to my car, and I noticed that the driver's side light wasn't replaced and the passenger side light wasn't buffed out. I had other xxxx to do in life so I left and sent Christian and text saying that I didn't think any work was done to them. By the time I arrived to my next destination (30 min drive), there was condensation back in the light fixture already. So I talked to Ben and Christian and after multiple calls and texts, they told me they will try to get me in the next morning. Christian told me they didn't actually have a part on hand (though they both told me they should when I called) and told me he'd update me next morning. The next day around noon, I was told to bring my car back in. I went in, took me 3 hours to complete everything again. Replaced and buffed as mentioned the first time, but they had my lights pointing all wonky so I had to figure out how to fix them at home. Why should I figure out how to fix the light when I literally took my car into the dealer so that I didn't have to do that? If I wanted to figure that out, I would've never gone in in the first place... Nonetheless, it was a good learning experience for me. But I sent them an email asking for explanations and asked them if this xxxxty experience isn't a typical experience for customers, to please show me that they are better than this inconvenience. Christian texted me saying that he'll work out a compensation for the loss of time and the inconvenience, but when we talked on the phone, he said I should contact the service department directly (since my car is a Nissan and not a Honda) and deal with them and that he had nothing to do with this. Well if you had nothing to do with Nissan cars, why did you sell me a Nissan car? I wouldn't recommend them. They're less than average. Also on the side note, Ben forgot to mention about getting my wheels realigned and forgot about the inspection sticker on the car he sold me. Also the detailing they did was less than average. Both Christian and Ben told me wrong oil to put in my car (I later confirmed the oil to put in my car at the Nissan dealer across the street). Idk, that doesn't seem like good enough work for me to ever want to go back. More
