We went to Gateway Hyundai because of the good reviews from a friend and also because of the relationship we had established with salesperson Anthony Hazelton. The experience was wonderful from Anthony working hard to help us, Robi working the banks to get our deal, Yvette answering questions about paperwork to all of the other salespeople and employees asking if we needed anything. The atmosphere and decor of the dealership is very relaxed and enjoyable and they went above and beyond to provide a area where customers can sit and watch tv while snacking on cookies, crackers, soda and water provided by the dealership. We never felt pressure to accept anything and we given the opportunity to think about what options we had. Anytime we had questions we were able to call the dealership and speak with anyone and either they were able to help or they left messages with the appropriate person who called us back in a timely manner. Along with the excellent customer service at Gateway, Hyundai also is in the business of helping their clients. We are in the process of restoring our credit and Hyundai has a program that is targeted toward people in our situation. I have recommended Gateway to several friends and we plan to purchase our next vehicles there in the future. - James & Lynnette Thaxton More

We came back to Gateway because they were very courteous and professional and we were impressed by the Hyundai vehicles. Our salesperson, Joe McCauley was very sincere and respectful, helping us find the right vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and patient as we drove different Hyundai vehicles and we felt no pressure whatsoever. Robi the sales manager was great to work with. Our dialogue was candid and we were quickly able to conduct business in a fair and respectful manner. Gateway impressed us so much that 3 months later we returned and purchased a second vehicle. Joseph again helped us find the right vehicle. Robi again helped us from his position and finally Yvette was very helpful finalizing our paperwork. Joseph, Robi and Yvette represented themselves and Gateway extremely well. Their professionalism is what made our experience so positive and helped make us repeat customers. This was the first time that I ever enjoyed talking with a finance person and I have bought over 20 cars in my life and she was the BEST! Kim and Kirk also did a good job and worked with me through the purchase of my new vehicle. I bought my last car at West Broad Hyundai and I vowed I would never go back again. New Car Purchase Experience at Gateway Hundai I recently completed the purchase of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L RWD. After I decided that I wanted a 2015 Genesis, based on a lot of research over s I recently completed the purchase of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8L RWD. After I decided that I wanted a 2015 Genesis, based on a lot of research over several months, I began the task of looking online and contacting several dealers through the True Car organization. Because the two or three color and options groups I wanted were not available at any of the dealers, I started a dialog with several dealerships about them trying to 'find' the car I wanted. There was one dealer whose True Car price was a small amount lower than Gateway's, there were none who were wiling to aggressively pursue finding 'my car' and complete the total transaction in only two or three days. Kirk, Kim and Yvette were very professional and at the same time very friendly and easy to talk with. Before I left the dealership yesterday, I told each of them that this has been my easiest and best car buying experience since I bought my first new car in 1976. Aside from getting a very good price, and being able to easily work through a few questions about pricing and financing, this was a very pleasant experience in terms of great communications and exceptional 'people skills' on the part of your employees. I'm confident that the Gateway management team will appropriately recognize outstanding work by outstanding people and treat them accordingly. My wife has instructed me that, since I am now retired this was my last new car experience, but I certainly plan to talk about Gateway and your staff members named above when friends or family want to know about 'what car to buy and where to buy it' in the future. I love my Veloster (which I also purchased at Gateway), but needed to g My wife and I went to Gateway Hyunda last weekend to look at the new Sonatas. I love my Veloster (which I also purchased at Gateway), but needed to get a car capable of carrying more people. Joseph McCauley met us coming in the door and asked if we needed any assistance. I explained to him what I was interested in and he immediately took us out on the lot to start showing us what was available. He was very helpful when we asked questions about each vehicle and was never pushy or pushing us one way or the other. By the end of the day he had probably shown us 8-10 different vehicles. He was very sincere in his mission to get us the car we felt comfortable in. Robi Ahluwalia was also very helpful in suggesting additional vehicles to look at and going over the financial options with us. This was the third Hyundai we have bought at Gateway and this experience was the most pleasureable we have ever had in any car purchase. I would also like to take a minute to give kudos to the service staff. Tommy Baugh and Jon Carpenter and their staff are always very amiable and helpful whenever we have our cars serviced. The Gateway Hyundai team definitely makes every effort they can to satisfy their customers and insure they get a car that fits them, and then continues that same level of customer service in the maintenance of the cars. They bend over backwards and strive to keep customers coming back. More
