Fast / No Hassle Experience On Sunday September 21, 2014 I was looking to possibly buy a new vehicle. I had visited a different car makers dealership next door and could not get On Sunday September 21, 2014 I was looking to possibly buy a new vehicle. I had visited a different car makers dealership next door and could not get anyone to pay attention to me by coming out and talking to me about vehicles. I left their lot and came next door to Colonial Honda. I wasn't out of my vehicle 2 minutes before I was approached by Tom Farlow. He set the tone with me right away buy not trying to force any particular vehicle on me. I am not a small guy and I did not have to buy a vehicle that day. I explained to him I had 3 priorities that that to be met. Obviously cost, a vehicle I could fit in and definitely good gas mileage. Again I explained to him I did not have to have one that day. I explained to Tom that I was interested in a Honda Accord. He went inside and brought out a set of keys to one particular vehicle I was looking at and one with a few more bells and whistles. When I sat in the Accord, I could not believe how easy it was for me to get in and out of. Hey big people out there, I am 5'10" and just over 400 Lbs..I know that may be a little too much information, but the Accord accommodated my size with no problem. As far as the extra bells and whistles on the other Accord, I explained to him I was not looking for a whole lot of extras. The features in my Accord were perfect for me. With that said, Tom continued on with the Accord I was interested in. His approach speaks volumes to me. I am like most people I know, we don't particularly want something being thrown at us like a steak on a string in front of a hungry dog. With the way the economy has been over the past few years, probably most people like myself know what we are looking to afford financially. What also amazed me was how fast negotiations took. Tom and I sat down, ran some numbers, he talked to his upper management, and before you know it... we had a deal. It was not long after I was setting in Duane Bookheimer's office finalizing the paperwork. As I said in the beginning, I was did not have to buy a vehicle that day but with the professionalism I received from Tom Farlow and the staff around him, I am a owner of a new 2014 Honda Accord 4 Dr LX. Good job...the owner should be proud. If I ever were to get into car sales, This is a place that I would like to work for. More

Charlie Jones is AWESOME! I was looking for a reliable used vehicle for my newly-licensed 16 year old son to purchase as his first car. He would be using his own money and had I was looking for a reliable used vehicle for my newly-licensed 16 year old son to purchase as his first car. He would be using his own money and had a strict limited budget. We had already determined that it would be unlikely to find a car at a dealership that fit his budget unless we got lucky with a recent trade-in that had not yet gone out to wholesale. After leaving a neighboring dealership after unsuccessful negotiations I stopped in to Colonial Honda with the plan of just leaving my name and number and an idea of what I was looking for. I had the good fortune of being greeted by Charlie Jones. Charlie was such a pleasure, and he was very enthusiastic about helping us despite my son's limited budget. He was honest about what little he had available, but quickly offered to get with his used car manager to see what he could find for us. In less than 24 hours Charlie had emailed me with a couple of options that would meet my son's budget. When we went to see the vehicles Charlie greeted my son with the same enthusiasm I had previously seen. Charlie called my son by name and interacted with him respecting that even though he was just a teenager, he was an important part of the buying process. My son decided to purchase one of the cars that Charlie had offered us. Throughout the entire process Charlie was wonderful to deal with. He was polite, courteous, honest and kind. He promptly responded to my calls and emails and even stayed late to make sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. Charlie Jones gets and A++ from us. More

We wanted a roomy car with good gas mileage and safety ratings. On Sat. Aug 23rd, we arrived at Colonial Honda with interest in the 2014 Honda Accord. our salesman, Charlie Jones, was very friendly and informative. He took his time explaining all that the accord had to offer. Then took it for a test drive. The accord is very user friendly. Left the dealer and test drove other vehicles le the Mazda 6, but came right back to Conial Honda and have had our accord for 3 weeks And our family loves it. Our salesman has touched base with us a few times since our purchase to make everything was going well with our car. This dealership has gone the extra mile from the purchasing process to our continued satisfaction after our purchase. More

When I first called she even informed me to put Colonial Heights (vice Chester) into my navigation system so it would it would show me how to get to their dealership without any problems.. When I got there she first asked me if I wanted anything to drink as I had driven from Virginia Beach (about two hours away) and yes, I was thirsty. She answered all of my questions about their service. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience at Colonial Honda, and Ms. Lewis made it so. Below at the end of this survey it asks about recent coverage of recalls of autos and what impact did it have on my vehicle selection. One reason I am a dedicated Honda buyer is that they are a very reliable and rarely have I ever had any problems with them. I have been a Honda buyer since 1981. More
