I filed a complaint previously about this dealership with the attorney generals office, dealers motor vehicles board, consumer finance protection bureau, and federal trade commission. Today I learned that I the attorney generals office, dealers motor vehicles board, consumer finance protection bureau, and federal trade commission. Today I learned that I was approved by GM FINANCIAL to purchase a vehicle I had been trying to buy. I was told to call the dealership and have them send over the proper paperwork. I called the dealership and asked to speak with someone in sales. I was transferred to Gavin the sales manager I informed him that I had gotten an approval from Grm financial. He told me to hold on while he checked with his manager I said well I can speak with him myself if that’s not a problem. He said well I’ll tell him but I believe we aren’t going to do business with you because you made some complaints. I then said to him that he wasn’t even going to tell his manager. and then he said that his manager was Standing right there and it doesn’t matter because they’re not doing business with me. So I confirmed that by them not wanting to do business with me because of the complaints about them not trying to sale me a car in the first place is retaliation for the complaints and now I feel discriminated. He then disconnected the call. I feel like because I’m a young African American female with not so good credit and because I’m not putting down a downpayment I was discriminated against and because I filed a complaint they are refusing to sale me a vehicle. That’s unfair, discriminatory, and deceptive business practices that shouldn’t be allowed. I originally filed a complaint because back in September I applied for financing for a vehicle at Cma Volvo of Charlottesville. I was given the run around because my credit score. The vehicle I was interested in had dropped in price so I called and asked for them to run the application again. The sales manager had asked if I had a co applicant yet and I informed him I was applying individually. He then told me he would call me back. Several days past by and I finally called and asked to speak with the general manager I told him what was going on and how I felt that I was being treated unfairly because of my credit. He told me give him a few minutes and he’ll call me back. In the midst of waiting for him to call me back a sales man called me because I submitted the credit application on my own so he was following up. I tell him the vehicle I’m interested in and he said he would run the credit and get back with me. By this time the supposed general manager calls back and tells me that I need an 8k downpayment and I then tell him that is not what the finance company is requiring I spoke with the finance company and they gave me a conditional approval with proof of income. He then says that it was for another vehicle and that they want 8k down in order to work the deal. I tell him that’s not true and he ended the call without even trying to fix my problem or make me feel like my business was valued. The salesman that called me in the midst of me wait for the general manager had texted me informing that he was able to get me approved for 2k down I then asked him to call me because by this time I’m confused. He called me and immediately says I didn’t know you talked to my sales manager already and he told you that you need 8k down. I asked him where did he get 2k down from he says that he ran my credit for a lower priced car he was just trying to get me into a vehicle. I informed him that I specifically told him to only run it for the vehicle that I told him I was interested in so for him to run my credit for just any vehicle wasn’t true and that someone was lying about the downpayment and that he needs to get with his manager and figure out the lie. The vehicle ended up being sold days later to someone who was willing to pay a downpayment. 11/30/22 I was pre approved by GM financial. Time passed since being pre approved and no one reached out to me so I called and couldn’t get a sales person on the phone so I decided to go to the dealership in person. No one wanted to help me and that’s the reason for complaints because I felt discriminated against on more than one occasion More

Took my vehicle in because another GMC Service Center Bob Howard in Oklahoma City (OKC) damaged my Air Conditioning System High pressure service port during an engine replacement. This caused a slow leak Bob Howard in Oklahoma City (OKC) damaged my Air Conditioning System High pressure service port during an engine replacement. This caused a slow leak of Freon, needless to say I lost my A/C with another 7 hours of driving in 93 degree temps and traffic. I wanted to take my vehicle to my local mechanic here in Charlottesville but Bob Howard service rep told me to take it to a local GMC service center because they would be certified and better at diagnosing and repairing the A/C system. About half hour after I picked up my vehicle I returned it to Colonial Buick GMC Service center to let my service advisor (Joey) know I looked under the hood to see what was done by the mechanic. There I saw a leak 5 inches below where their mechanic replaced the High side service port Shrader valve. Bob Howard Buick GMC Service center in OKC paid $488.00 to Colonial GMC Buick in Charlottesville to replace a Shrader valve, when I was quoted $275. What was the reason for the higher cost? Joey the service advisor at Colonial noticed a previous repair on the A/C line of which I was not aware of since I had just purchased this used vehicle. The A/C was working perfectly before the engine replacement. Joey immediately wrote up an estimate of $1550.00 to replace the liquid side High presure line. My question is if these mechanics are so highly certified and trained why didn't they notice a previous repair on the A/C line before filling the A/C system full of Freon. Especially when on the receipt the mechanic said he leak tested the whole A/C system for Freon leaks. In my opinion, did they perform the first repair knowing it would fail and take me for $1550 on top of the $488 the other dealer paid for repairs? I do not recommend this dealer for your vehicle service. They are allot more expensive and overpriced on service and parts compared to other private repair shops. Joey's estimates based on replacing the Shrader valve, Freon and labor was way over his initial estimate of $275. More
