Bought a '12 Focus from them on 9/6 for our son, said wheel bearings just replaced last week drove about 70 miles home in NC. 9/7 drove to get a NC inspection done aprx 5 miles away and drivers side fron wheel bearings just replaced last week drove about 70 miles home in NC. 9/7 drove to get a NC inspection done aprx 5 miles away and drivers side front tire almost came off the car. CarPro told me they just replaced them less than a week ago.They sent me an invoice for the bearing installation at Accurate-Tune in Virginia Beach and had clearly written on invoice "No Warranty".I called Accurate-Tune and they told me they dont Warranty parts that are brought to them or used parts, said wheel bearings were used and CarPro does this frequently. I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED OR SOMEONE ELSE IF THAT TIRE CAME OFF THE CAR RIDING DOWN US 17. CarPro then starts with the blame game saying Accurate-Tune installed them wrong, or maybe it was just because they brought in salvaged parts off a wrecked car to repair it with. A new bearing is about $60 or a new Hub/Bearing assembly aprx $135 and they are so cheap and care so little for safety they had Accurate-Tune put a used part from a wrecked vehicle that was obviously damaged before Accurate-Tune installed them. These bearings are very easy to damage especially when they are removed from a junkyard car or a car that was in a front end collision that they were pulled from. CarPro then says I'll refund you $100...WOW! This failed bearing damaged the hub and the CV axle. It cost $568 to fix something that should have been repaired the 1st time with NEW BEARINGS! I'm going to replace the passenger side bearing/hub as well because they did that one as well, another $398. The car was $5,000 and it is for our son who is in college and worked part time and took 2 years to save $4,000. We chipped in another $1,200 and all the money it's going to cost to fix all the things CarPro screwed us with this car for our kid. CarPro doesn't deserve any business at all, LOOK at their Google reviews you'll get a good laugh at all the fake 5 star reviews they have. The names of the reviewers and the fact they have only done one review EVER and it's for CarPro? Sure! I still haven't received the $100 by the way have asked multiple times and they ignore me. They weren't able to produce a invoice for those bearings so I can recoup some of my money at least for the parts but again asked multiple times and they just ignore me. Call Accurate-Tune in VB and ask them about them they do alot of work for them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE YOULL BE DRIVING OFF THEIR LOT WITH A TICKING TIME BOMB THAT WILL EITHER FAIL SHORTLY AFTER OR KILL YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER BECAUSE OF SOME SHODDY WORK THEY DID TO THE CAR. ***THIS HOW THEY TREAT VETERANS BY SELLING USED VEHICLES WITH HIDDEN SAFETY FLAWS THEN ARE LIKE ITS YOUR PROBLEM NOW!! BE ASHAMED TO SURIVIVE 8 YEARS IN THE MILITARY ONLY TO BE KILLED ON US HIGHWAY DRIVING A CAR THAT THE TIRE ALMOST CAME COMPLETELY OFF THE CAR. I spoke to 2 People on a Saturday about a car. . They said it was raining and you could not take pictures with the top up (convertible) but told me the top was in excellent condition. They also told me you were open from 12-6 on Sunday and that I was to ask for Mike or Eunice. Well I went there around 12:30 on Sunday With cash in hand (drove 1.5 hours from the to get there.). The top was HAND SEWN and mildewed. That is not Excellent condition! On top of that NO ONE WAS THERE! They WERE CLOSED. Ridiculous business etiquette. I will not be returning and will be sure to share my experience with anyone and everyone. More
FRAUD! WARNING!! FRAUD!!! WARNING!!!!Recently I had the FRAUD! WARNING!! FRAUD!!! WARNING!!!! Recently I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from Red at Car Pro Inc located at 1122 S Military Hwy. FRAUD! WARNING!! FRAUD!!! WARNING!!!! Recently I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from Red at Car Pro Inc located at 1122 S Military Hwy. Less than a week I spoke with Red about issues he stated were resolved before I drove off the lot. I returned the vehicle and was promised it would be ready in 3 days. After 10 days I find out my car is located at CarMax in Virginia Beach - ready to be auctioned off. This information was verified by the Auction Mgr - Carlo. Red refused to give my full deposit back as stated on the contract in BOLD BLACK letters. When contacting the finance company, I was told that if Red did not send back the check, they would not null my contract. Of course Red claimed he has notified the finance company: they have no record of him contacting them or returning the check he received. I will contacting the Attorney General’s Office. In addition to this car fraud from Red as he attempted to return the car to CarMax and receive money, as stated by CarMax, Red attempted to defraud the warranty company by attempting to get me to purchase a warranty (after the sale) and file a Fraudulent claim, stating “don’t tell them anything was wrong with the car at first.” In the end - I cannot purchase another vehicle until 1) Red returns the check to the finance company because the account is still open or 2) the courts open and I file a lawsuit against Car Pro Inc to pay the loan off. Red had the audacity to tell me to wait ... that I was impatient...!!! All along my vehicle was not being repaired, he was attempting to sell the car he admitted could not be fixed. Thanks to CarMax for signing an affidavit to such. Until I am made whole with my entire deposit and the loan is released from the finance company, I will continue to WARN others about Red and Car Pro Inc. More
BUYER BEWARE! These guys are scammers! I wanted to support a family owned business...BIG MISTAKE! At the time of purchase Mike told me "if there's anything wrong with it bring it back and we'll fix it support a family owned business...BIG MISTAKE! My model didn't bring a spare tire, in which the other dealership lacked to inform me of, and did not bring a repair kit in which was supposed to have been provided with my vehicle. I approached Red with this frustration in which he was more than helpful in assisting me to find a spare rim as fast as possible. He took down my information to order the rim, since they did not have the spare rim in stock. He called me within THREE days to inform me that the rim had arrived and whenever it was most convenient for me, it was available for pick up. I mean, Red was just AMAZING!! Super knowledgeable towards my vehicle, speedy service, and was super kind and understanding when I had arrived so frustrated. He was not only professional, but he made me feel as though he was a friend and a valued customer. Something that the other dealership lacked in every way. I am glad I came across carpro and met Red . I look forward to continuing my needs being fulfilled by the Toyota Doral dealership. P.S.
