Disappointed for a second time First, I was sad that both key fobs stopped communicating with the car JUST AFTER 50,000 miles which indicates that Ford builds in obsolescence for im First, I was sad that both key fobs stopped communicating with the car JUST AFTER 50,000 miles which indicates that Ford builds in obsolescence for immediately after the factory warranty runs out - this is my second such experience with this car! Second, while I was still steaming about the first thing, the service person handed me my receipt and sent me on a hike to get my car. I got all the way out there and the door wouldn't unlock! I trudged all the way back into the Service Dept. only to catch attitude from the guy as he instructed me to follow him, implying I was too stupid to operate my own vehicle! He soon learned he couldn't make it work either. When he figured out the battery on the car was flat-out dead, I went back inside the building to sit down and get warm. When he came in to tell me it was fixed and I could go get it, I told him that because I was undergoing cancer treatment I didn't think I could make it back out there again. He begrudgingly brought the car up to the service bay for me. Thanks, Pal! I've learned from my last experience that no one responds to these reviews so I won't name names but maybe someone will read this and be forewarned. More

Recall and learning session I purchased the Explorer mostly because I could get expert service at a location close to where I live. So far so good with my first experience of usi I purchased the Explorer mostly because I could get expert service at a location close to where I live. So far so good with my first experience of using the Service Dept. during a recall of my 2019 Explorer. I also was able to schedule an apt. with my sales person to explain some of the technology that this vehicle has. Not only have we changed brands, but I also changed from our 5th Chrysler van to a Ford SUV. Things are very different for me and my husband as we learn where to push the screen for various tasks. Kinda like "teaching old dogs new tricks!" No phone number to call Wimberley on this survery - cannot remember person who helped Derek with vehicle explanation!!! More

My Ford Explorer has been sitting there for 6 weeks My Ford Explorer was towed in on August 15th, every week I call and they tell me it will be looked at next. I ask how much longer and he said I don't know I have more care in line after yours but you are next. No loaner care was offered either, I guess they just don't care about their customers.
