I came in for a recall on my shocks. That's the reason Amy set up the appointment stating it was a safety concern. When I got there they said I was there for a recall on my back up camer That's the reason Amy set up the appointment stating it was a safety concern. When I got there they said I was there for a recall on my back up camera. I did not even know about that recall. I reminded them I was there for the recall on the shocks. They fixed the camera but did not have the parts for the shocks. They did try to sell me an oil change and service and recommend some other repairs on my $80000 Bronco with only 30000 miles? They told me they would order the parts and I would need to come back when they came in. I live over an hour away and that's pretty inconvenient. We LOVE Byers and have purchased 6 or 7 vehicles from you between us and our kids. Any chance I could get a free oil change and service when we come back in for the repairs? We have had LOTS of issues with the service department over the years. Brakes that sounded like xxxx on a brand new f-150. It sounded like a trash truck every time I stopped. I was told that's just how the new brakes sound. Funny I'm a die hard Ford guy and know that bull so I came back several time to have them looked at. Then a very expensive fix on an f-150 hybrid that took them months to diagnose the loud squeel when transfering from the gas to electric motor. Loud enough for other people to hear it in thier cars going down the road. Both vehicles got traded in because they became such a headache. The lady that was in the service department was awesome!! Tiffany handled my recall and had my Bronco ready to go back out on the road for another 6 months. She took time to talk me through how to apply the fuel additive to clean the system on my next long drive back out on the road for another 6 months.
