I came across Butler Toyota through an Internet search and was overwhelmed at how wonderful I was treated and the deal that I got was exceptional. I gave Mr. Gilliam quite a challenge and he rose quite easily to the task and treated me with respect and kindness and even came in on his day off to deliver my new car to me. My husband and I have experienced the amazing products Toyota makes when we purchased a Pruius in 2008 and had brought it into the service department to be serviced. We were blown away we the professionalism so when we came across them again on the internet, I was all to eager to trust in them and the product I would be receiving. I called the Butler service department on Tuesday morning, March 18,2014 and Larry Cummings set me up with an appointment for 11:45 AM for the same day. Before I entered the door, I was greeted and directed to Wendy Hollis (she had helped me with a prior purchase). Both ladies are very knowledgeable of the vehicles themselves and all the details that go along with a sale and trade-in (which had also been purchased from your dealership). They even provided some answers to questions I forgot to ask! Their commitment to their job AND me as the customer was appreciated. I also dealt with Kevin - I'm sure I must have tested the patience of all! Quinton helped me get through all of the "signing" process with no problems. Actually it was a very good experience from the time I entered the door until I drove away in my beautiful red car! More
Worst experience ever!!!! Most unprofessional group of people, rude managers, and terrible service!!!! Mainly dealt with Bob--who is a manager. When we purchased our 4 Runner in December, Bob gave us people, rude managers, and terrible service!!!! Mainly dealt with Bob--who is a manager. When we purchased our 4 Runner in December, Bob gave us a list of 3 things that would be taken care of (surface scratches, radio problems, and Weather Tech floor liners for the car). The first problem was that it took us 2 and 1/2 weeks and numerous unreturned phone calls before we could even get our car in for the promised services. We were finally told to bring the car for the services and that parts had been ordered, but after a week without our car we were told the vehicle was being looked at to determine what parts needed to be ordered (thought that had already been taken care of). We went back to get our car to wait on parts to come in, then had to take it back once more where it sat for a week and the only progress made was the car was detailed. (They did give us a loaner car...which was expected anyway, but tried to put us in a small car, when the reason we traded was for more room for our newborn twins). Finally, parts came in and scratches were fixed. Only problem with the parts were the floor liners were not the ones promised because Bob told us they could no longer get the Weather Tech liners, which turned out to to be untrue. This was determined when we contacted the service dept and asked how much it would cost for us to order the Weather Tech floor liners. The service dept quickly gave us a price and told us they would be happy to order for us. Over a month and one car payment later and many trips back and forth with our newborn twins, we finally got our car. We expressed or frustration about the wait, trouble and lies we had been told. The company immediately got on the defensive, told us to leave, and hung up on us when we tried to call (another manager, Randy Lavoie). During the last conversation when we again expressed our dissatisfaction and told them we would take necessary measures to let all our friends know to beware, we were told with a snicker and very sarcastically "I'm sure we'll lose a lot of business from your complaints". Obviously customer satisfaction after the sale is of no importance to them. We posted a negative review on Facebook and were asked very quickly by the company to take it off. As I was looking through reviews from other people, I came across a positive review made by the sales manager himself, Randy Lavoie, as if he were an actual customer and had an experience with buying a vehicle. Beware of the positive reviews you do read...they may contain a conflict if interest. "Whether you are purchasing a vehicle, servicing your car or looking for the perfect part, your satisfaction is our highest priority"---this was copied directly from their website. We are not too convinced now! After spending thousands on something, this was our expectation, however the reality was much different. More
