Butler Honda

Started a text conversation about trading our CRV and purchasing another on Saturday afternoon. Gave them my trade info and vin as well as the car I was looking at from thier website. All I asked for was their best price on the new 2020 CRV and my trade value without seeing the vehicle. Knowing that I woudl have to go in to finalize everything. Was just making sure I was not driving to the dealership to sit and not be able to make a deal. I then stated that I was shopping as I live within 25 miles of several Honda Dealerships, and that I was looking for the one to give me the best deal. The sales person text me that they would meet or better another dealers deal by $300 if I brought them the deal.I would ask why I would go through another deal and then come to them for the same deal or for $300. My time is valuable also. I was not just looking for ther best deal but how I was treated as a customer. Never heard back as of Monday at 4pm from them. Spoke to the sales manager on Wednesday and was told he never has luck with giving numbers over the phone and pushed me off like it was no big deal. So after not hearing back from them on Monday at 4 pm I started the same conversation with the next closest dealer via chat on their website He gave me a great discount on the new car and exceeded my thoughts on my trade on the first go. He then called and we went over all the numbers again and started the paperwork I drove home with the new CRV by 6 pm. Today I called the Sales Manager he jokingly asked if this was a complaint insinuating that if so he was not the Sales Manager LOL , he did not care to really listen to what I had to say and blew it off as we win some and loose some. I purchase a new car ( CRV) for my wife every other year. We are now on our 4th CRV. We just moved to the Butler Honda area so we called them first. What a mistake. It is apparent to me they are all about their money and not about customer service. They could of had a long term customer. Future customers do your research check around. Customer service sell cars and brings repeat sales and service. With my recent experience that is not Butler Honda Note: They may be great once they get you in the door. Without preliminary numbers why drive and spend my time face to face! More

Staff at service center were very professional and polite. Social distancing and cleanliness were clearly a priority.
