The service was excellent, the mechanic was friendly, and I will be going to them again. My Silverado runs great. I was there for a minimum of 1 hour. I will be going to them again. My Silverado runs great. I was there for a minimum of 1 hour. More
I was kept up to date on my repair. I think the work was done in a timely manner considering the crisis the country is in at this time. I was very well pleased as usual.. done in a timely manner considering the crisis the country is in at this time. I was very well pleased as usual.. More

Extremely helpful I was stuck in Macon traveling out of state on my way to South Carolina. My brakes went out on a Sunday of course so we were stuck overnight. I got to I was stuck in Macon traveling out of state on my way to South Carolina. My brakes went out on a Sunday of course so we were stuck overnight. I got to the dealership right when they opened and there were so many other customers. When I explained my situation, Rick made sure to let me know they would get it handled as soon as possible. Sure enough within two hours they called me to let me know it was done. They drove me to and from my hotel while it was being worked on. They provided excellent customer service every step of the way. Although I don't live in Macon, I would recommend this dealership to anyone local or within driving distance. I was very impressed. Thank you so much Butler Chevrolet for turning a not so pleasant experience into a pleasant one! More
Worst Service I've Ever Experienced I'm 58 yrs old and have been buying cars and trucks since I was 18 yrs old. Besides the car salesman (Dexter Whitby) this was by far the WORST custome I'm 58 yrs old and have been buying cars and trucks since I was 18 yrs old. Besides the car salesman (Dexter Whitby) this was by far the WORST customer service experience I've ever had. To start off, the truck I bought had a nail in the front drivers side tire when I first looked at it, I told the salesman (Dexter) he relayed that info to the service center, basically they just put air in the tire, a few days later after I bought the truck it went flat, I was told to bring it in on a Sat before 2pm, I got there at 11am and waited in the waiting room until 2pm, when they finally finished. While sitting in the waiting room after about an hour, I asked the service rep (didn't get his name) Does it take this long to plug a tire? His response was "YES" and he walked off, I thought that was odd, so after 2 more hours of waiting, he finally says my truck was ready, I get to my truck and there were black marks, streaks and spots on both doors, hood and tail gate, when I told the service guy, his response was, "Your truck came in like that" and he walked away, I was angry to say the least, I went and got Dexter and he had me take the truck to the back to the detail shop, but the spots were hard to get off and it was closing time, so he said to bring the truck back and they would take care of it on Monday. Long story short, the detail guy was on vacation the next week and it was raining all week, I ended up waxing and buffing the truck myself and I got all the black spots and marks off the truck, mind you, this is a white truck and the black marks showed up very well, I only had the truck two days and I had them detail it before I picked it up. I would never do business with Butler Chevrolet again and would not recommend them. More
Service experience I drove a new honda for three years. I worked really hard and paid it off. I never had anything go wrong with it in miles 3 to 70,000 that I drove it. I drove a new honda for three years. I worked really hard and paid it off. I never had anything go wrong with it in miles 3 to 70,000 that I drove it. I traded the honda in for a camaro. So far it has developed a loud rattle in the shifter (a frequent problem for manual 6th gen camaros), the headliner has come unstuck, and another piece of trim has fallen down inside the car. This all happened in the first 5k miles. Tammy in service is really good to work with. I had a hard time with a couple of others especially when one of them told me that I had modded the car when it is totally stock and when I was telling them about the rattle in the shifter another guy asked me if I had ever driven a manual before (to which I said I had about 100k miles experience before buying the car). Both times Tammy jumped in and helped me out. She also helped me get set up with a car so I can go to work. Chevy might not have the most reliable car but at least they will honor the warranty without much hassle. I love my camaro. I hope this is all that goes wrong with it because I plan on keeping it for a long time. Ask for Tammy! More
