Established in 1921 by Elmer Burtness, The Burtness Family of Dealerships has grown from a small Standard gasoline station into one of the most prominent Family of Dealerships in southern Wisconsin. Although the gas pumps have long been forgotten, the Bowditch family, which currently owns the dealership, still prides itself on the same principles and values Elmer envisioned: being the leader in outstanding service to customers and their vehicles.
With its small-town roots, Burtness Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Whitewater serves customers from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Its customers are loyal. Many have purchased all their vehicles from Burtness. The employees are loyal, too. Burtness employs more than 35 family members, who have more than 400 years of combined dedicated service. Brad Behrens went OVER and Above to help me in my truck search, I have already recommended him to several people, my wife wants to purchase a newer SUV soon so we will be coming back to see Brad. Its about an hour out of our way to get to your dealership, but was worth the trip .Hav'nt heard ANY other dealership in recent years allow you to try out a vehicle weekend to see if you like it, VERY IMPRESSED with that .I WILL be a Burtness customer for life. I looked on the Jeep website to find the car I wanted with the options I wanted (there were only 4 in the country). I sent out emails to all of those dealerships and the first person to respond was Matt with the options I wanted (there were only 4 in the country). I sent out emails to all of those dealerships and the first person to respond was Matt Miller at Burtness CDJR. In my back and forth with all of the dealers Matt was always the most responsive sales rep and he was very forthright. Though I live in Georgia and found a car that met my requirements for about the same price in Tennessee I ended up feeling more comfortable with Matt and the Burtness folks and so, bought from them.
