I've had a horrible experience with Burritt Dealership My brother and I purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain back in November 2016 (not even 3 months ago) The day after I had this vehicle the brakes were grinding, My brother and I purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain back in November 2016 (not even 3 months ago) The day after I had this vehicle the brakes were grinding, I took it in to service and they told me it was rust on my rotors and they grinder it off. I took it home and 2 weeks later had the same grinding, I tool it back again and was told my brakes only had 30% life on them and that I would have to pay to have new brakes. I refused to do that. These guys just did not care. Now my engine light is on this week, I call service and told them, I also had purchase the extended warranty for $1600.00, Service told me they didn't know if this was covered!!! And told me if it was I still had to pay a $100 deductible regardless. They also could not guarantee me a rental if they had to keep my vehicle and I drive for a living. Sorry Burritt, none of this is acceptable to me in any way. More
No Negotiations "only looking for a sale" I searched on Car Grus, and found a 2012 used Ford Taurus located at Burritt Motors in Oswego that interest me. I stopped in for a visual and was cut short when I stepped out of our vehicle and slipped on the parking lot, which was completely covered in glare Ice. Apparently the publics safety doesn't mean much to them. A little salt could have prevented a headache. I immediately sent an email of interest on (Dec 19th) for a 2012 Ford Taurus and possibly a desire for a used Impala. I also requested Email to be our primary use for communication. I received a response back from Randy in Sales and I preceded to make an offer on "strictly the Taurus". I was literally exhausted w/ Randys Emails and other offers, of different vehicles available other then the one I was interested in. Several times I asked for just a simples yes or no response, just to stop the annoying sales pitch. I finally told Randy to stop contacting me anymore, (Jan 3rd) due to the unwillingness of negotiating a reasonable price. His response back was they may have a different vehicle available to meet my needs. (More like a vehicle to sell at their set price) That is a complete turn off to any costumer. I will never consider buying from Burritt Motors. This was a learning experience, I am glad I don't have any commitments w/ Burritt Motors. More
Dishonest Back in February 2015, I decided to search for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle thru the Official GM website. One of the results was the car that I bough Back in February 2015, I decided to search for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle thru the Official GM website. One of the results was the car that I bought from Burritt on Feb 14th, 2015. I went on and bought my 2012 Equinox thinking that they had completed all the require inspections and refurbished the vehicle promised by the GM CPO Warranty and the dealership. To my pain I found out two days later when I took my vehicle to get rust protection that the bottom front fender was missing and that my air intake was exposed, also the bumper was separated from the body and for that reason the front right headlight had moisture. Also all the wiper blades were worn out. I manage to have them complete all the repairs that should have being completed prior to the sale and even at the NY state vehicle inspection that they conducted on my vehicle the same day of the sale. Now 10 months later, I brought my vehicle to another dealership for the schedule maintenance to find out that only the oil and had being exchange in the vehicle when I bought it. My radiator fluid is at the end of its life time, breaks they all need to be change, brake fluid is pass over due. All of this maintenance work orders and inspections should have being completed prior to them selling the vehicle to me. If I had my way I would not even give them the one start that I have here. More
Bad Business/ Misleading I was referred here by my husband who said they were a great company when he bought his car there many years ago. Jeff Fields bragged about how great the car was and ready to go out the door. When I walked out the door it looked like it had been in more fender benders then possible with visible signs of damage and an automatic door that did not work. I needed the car and Jeff and Jim Congdon said they would fix the damage to the bumper and the door if I bought it. We brought the car back, they had it for 3 days and did not even look at the damage to the bumper. After complaining and threatening them to file a compliant they picked up the car, had it for 4 more days and did not even do anything to it but lied and said they did( my husband took rag to it and got most of the scratches out after) I then complained again and they wanted us to drive over another hour each way again to try the third time. I told them they needed to get the car or fix it local since they have failed to fix it 2 times already and now they have refused to work with me or make right on their promise and they have not returned my call again for another week when they were going to see what they could do to make the situation right. They are not honest and will say and do anything for a sale..The car was missing pieces and they do not do anything to the car to make it look good for a sale. PLEASE PLEASE only buy a NEW car that you know has not been tampered with if you are going to buy from there. These guys are NO GOOD!!! And please watch them, I closed late so everyone was in hurry to get out of there but they snuck in a 2k extended warranty just because my interest was lower. All they really explained is basically I know you wanted 350.00 payments but the interest was lower and I could have saved you money but we added this warranty on the keep you at the 366.00 payment we thought originally. Shame on me because I did not look better but just beware. More
Horrible misleading sales not honest Saw a great looking used Tahoe for sales. Had been looking awhile. I drove 5 hrs each way to see there were scratches that had a thick touch up paint blobbed on and the wrong second row seats???? The pictures of the Tahoe on the Internet was not what I had in front of me. Literally...they sold the captain chairs seats to another customer and put in another trucks second row bench. It had different leather and the wrong seats!! They were arrogant enough to offer putting in another type of leather from an older Cadillac and then tried again with an even older Tahoe. It was so unethical and scamming they were even suprised. Most horrible dealership experience I was disgusted. Horrible. More

After I bought a vehicle and sent them TWO more customers who also purchased. This is a VERY dishonest shady business that should be SHUT DOWN by NYS. Basically just thieves and liars. More

After we found what we were looking for, the deal went very smooth. Paperwork was a cinch, I have bought cars before and never was it this easy. I had a couple of issues with the car mechanically but Andrew and the service department took good care of me and fix the issue with out causing any inconvenience with my everyday life.
