I have been taking my car to Burns Honda for over 7 years and have been happy with the service. I purchased a new 2020 Civic last year and had a very positive experience. I purchased a new 2022 Civic EX-L and Accord Hybrid Touring in the last three months and the experience was not positive. Jim McCormick, the General Manager, was made aware of my current interaction at Burns Honda and he immediately corrected course. He demonstrated with deed that customer satisfaction is of upmost importance to Burns and he personally guaranteed my continued loyalty. More
From start to finish the experience at Burns Honda was nice and painless. The horror stories you hear of buying a car do not exist at this dealership. The GM Jim was very warm and welcoming. He was nothing short of being fantastic. There is a reason he has been working there so long. Truly low pressure and a wonderful person to work with. I moved to NJ about a year ago with a 2019 Dodge Challenger (FWD). Right after my move, I experienced at least 4 snow days and actually drifted in my Challenger! (Yikes). After that experience, I knew I needed to get a new car (preferably AWD) by next winter. I originally went to a Toyota dealer (knowing that the world is experiencing a car shortage) and was not helped. I was told of the shortage (completely understandable), but even asking to reserve a car that was inbound seemed like an impossible task to the salesmen working with me. After 15 mins, I left frustrated and proceeded to drive home. On my way home, I passed Burns Honda (not knowing anything about this dealer) and decided to pull in and look. I had contemplated buying either a Toyota Rav-4 Hybrid, Honda CR-V Hybrid, or a Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid. I never made it to a Hyundai dealer, because after 10 mins of being at Burns Honda, I was taken care of. The salesmen (Andy C.) was NOT pushy or sleazy, which I have encountered more than not at dealerships. I was approached only after looking for a salesmen (thank you for letting me look in peace) and welcomed. Andy was able to get me a 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid, w/ black ext. & black int. (exactly what I wanted) within a week! Considering we're in this huge car shortage, I was more than impressed as other dealers told me 2-6 months!! I am Active Duty Military & was happy with how military friendly Burns Honda is. Honda does $500 deposits for military, however that only applies if you finance your car through Honda. I was able to get a better interest rate with another bank, so unfortunately I could not take advantage of the $500 deposit. However, Andy & Eric (the salesmen/finance staff working with me) were able to discount all of the add-on's for my car (windshield repair coverage, Luxx-care, tires, etc.). The discounts were more than the $500 deposit, so very happy. There's no doubt that Honda's are great cars. They're reliable, affordable, fuel efficient and very comfortable to drive. I love my new 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid!! Thank you Burns Honda for making this the BEST car buying experience I've ever had. If you go to Honda, I'm sure all of the staff are great, however I am biased and recommend asking for Andy & Eric. :-) Only suggestion for the design team of Honda. Please consider adding a panoramic sunroof as an option on the CR-V. What really drove me to consider the Hyundai Tuscon is their gorgeous interior. As happy as I am with my CR-V, having a panoramic sunroof would REALLY make it feel more luxurious. I would happily pay the extra $2K+. Thank you again Burns Honda for the excellent customer service, great communication in coordinating my pickup, and timeliness of this whole experience. I like not being held hostage at dealerships :-) More
Brian Styers, the best salesman, by far, has sold us a beautiful 2022 Honda Accord EXL. It is hard to find an honest salesman, however Brian has been very friendly, professional and thorough, answering beautiful 2022 Honda Accord EXL. Brian and the entire Burns teams was fantastic from start to finish. It was an extremely busy Saturday at the dealership and they made sure everything was taken care of since I was from out of town. I just picked up my new 2022 Ridgeline and had a completely satisfying experience at Burns Honda. My sales rep, Christine was fantastic. When I called and told her what I was looking for she was abl completely satisfying experience at Burns Honda. My sales rep, Christine was fantastic. When I called and told her what I was looking for she was able to quickly search the trucks currently being built for them. We handled all the negotiations on the phone and I was impressed that unlike some other dealerships, Burns was not adding a "Market Demand Adjustment" upcharge like I had seen at some other dealerships. I put down my deposit and knew it would be about a month before the truck would arrive. Christine was always timely with sending me text messages to let me know when they build was done and whether or not it had shipped yet. Once it shipped Christine gave me the date it would be in and prepped. When I went in to pick it up it was a no muss, no fuss deal. While I was completing all the final paperwork, Christine went out to the truck and set up all my radio stations including some for the free Sirius subscription. She also set up my Android Auto and went over all the controls to really make things easy for me once I pulled off the lot. Very well run dealership and I know the guy who now runs their Service department so I'm sure that part of the business will also be top notch. And for what it's worth, I live 2 minutes from another Honda dealership but Burns made it well worth my while to drive 35 minutes to do business with them. I'll be back. More
