Daughter had fan belt put on 7/27/20. Today it came off while she was driving. Car difficult to steer ,many lights on dash came on and finally car stopped while trying to turn into Ford place. Was able to get car into lot and was told by service advisor would be Thursday before it could be checked . Car would not start so had to call a wrecker to get car towed to a mechanic . She went in to let the service advisor know she had called a tow service and he wanted to know how long it would be before they got it because it couldn’t sit there. The fan belt had come off and the part it was on should have been changed in July to prevent this. Service advisor has very poor customer service skills. Thankfully we found a real mechanic that was able to help More
I went to look at a Chevrolet Tahoe. I called and made an appt with Brian Heffernan. He was so helpful and very nice. The car had some issues with a messed up door panel and a missing hubcap. They fixed it all and the crack in the dash that I forgot to tell them about. They really impressed me. Drew Clark helped me with the financing he was amazing. So sweet and helpful. The next time I'm shopping for a vehicle they will be my first stop. More

Called up the dealership and the service manager informed me that he does not have the equipment to check the fault coded for the vehicle and said you can take it anywhere with the warranty Brought the car over to Woody's auto service and gave them the warranty information on it they called me back saying the coverage company does not have the vehicle in there system and not warranty anything. I called Burns Ford and they towed the vehicle back to there shop that was day 1. The date it was towed was on 8-31-19. Danny was able to give me a ford transit vehicle to use while the truck was in the shop which was great gesture but the vehicle was not even clean windshield was cracked brakes scream from time to time. Next, I have been calling to see if there were any updates on my truck I have been calling Thursday Friday Saturday Monday and now Tuesday nothing all I get is will call you back with no call back. I have been calm throughout this process. The first mechanic I took it to informed me that the underneath of the truck is all rusted out like it was sitting in water for some time even the spare tire rim was rusted. I just want answers. I will not be taken the truck back until everything is repaired or replaced. I went to a dealership like yours because it was a Ford dealership. Now I have asked again tonight to speak with someone and I get they will call you back with nothing. I was sold something that had many issues. Please either give me my money back or put me in a replacement vehicle. The only reason why I am writing this is that the lack of respect I have been getting. I do have pictures of the undercarriage of the vehicle from the first mechanics I took it to. Also, I forgot to mention I transferred my tags from one vehicle to the new one and still never received paperwork for it when asked about this they informed me they messed the paperwork up and will have to redo it. More

Great Experience - Always In 2015, we purchased a new vehicle from Burns Ford...this was our first purchase at Burns...the experience was really great and we received excellent In 2015, we purchased a new vehicle from Burns Ford...this was our first purchase at Burns...the experience was really great and we received excellent service since...the staff is always so friendly and helpful...we are treated like family...In February 2018, we decided to purchase another new vehicle...Burns was the only dealership that we were considering...the experience in this new purchase was just like the one in 2015...everyone treated us with respect...they did not try to push the sale on us...they took time to understand what our goal was and allowed us to drive the sales' process...the price was very fair...Brian, our salesperson, handled both the 2015 and 2018 purchases...he was very patient and understanding...Freddy, the finance manager, explained each form to us and did not try to push 'extras' on us...he explained what the 'extras' were and allowed us to make our own decision...if in the future we decide to purchase another vehicle, new or used, Burns Ford in Lancaster SC will be our first stop...probably will be the only stop!!! On this visit I had a slow leak on one of the tires and the guys in the back searched meticulously until they found the culprit - a very small slit in the rim of the valve. It was quickly replaced and I was on my way. I'm on my second vehicle with Burns Ford and don't anticipate switching. Robert Burns and his team are a pleasure to work with. More
