Sales department is very helpful and generous, however the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for the service department is rude and inconsiderate. Long story short I was sold a Lemon and its been sitting in the service shop at Kia Burlington for 2-3 weeks, nobody at Kia thought to notify me that I would be receiving a new engine covered under warranty until I called them for the 3rd time a week into it being there. I was initially told the engine was on the way and had been ordered on that call. Well…. That was a great sounding lie because when I called a week later to check on status of this they said the engine was on backorder and they somehow cant give me an ETA on when the engine will arrive to the shop. This is very peculiar to me in itself, but the fact the lady(s) I spoke with on the phone have nothing helpful to say is shocking. At least if you’re gonna be unhelpful maybe you should perhaps change the tone of your voice. Its not my fault you don’t enjoy your job. And when I asked if I am able to get help for a loaner or rental even they told me they don’t do any of these things which is contradicting what I have read online about your warranty policies. It’s cool though I’ll just struggle as a working student and walk around for miles everywhere I have to be for the next month or two like I’ve been doing. Don’t buy here if you have other options. More

After Frank refused to honor a service contract I had with the dealership, yelled at me, spoke down to me, and lied about not maintaining service records, I was unhappy, reached out to the GM, and left a poor google review. Marcus reached out, seemingly trying to help, but never responded to any voicemails I left him over a series of months. It felt like he was just trying to play it up for the internet, with no intention of ever reaching back out. And he never did. The whole experience felt like a huge scam, and this is a dealership that I would not recommend using for purchases and service. More
This review is for the service department, NOT THE SALES DEPARTMENT, I brought my Kia K5 LXS 2021 car in for it's first oil change since purchase Dec. 2021 and Valerie Apple was my service advisor, she was/ DEPARTMENT, I brought my Kia K5 LXS 2021 car in for it's first oil change since purchase Dec. 2021 and Valerie Apple was my service advisor, she was/is TOP NOTCH and with the service she provided me will keep me coming back to Kia Service in Burlington NC. She resolved the issue for me with my car pulling slightly to the left that I thought was out of alignment but it was indeed a new tire on the front left side and recommended rotating the tires to fix the issue and explained why. She also knew why my stirring wheel was making a funny sound when I turned it, so she has ordered the part and we will be replacing it under warranty. I was not aware of the steering wheel issue till I drove the car for a little bit after purchase for it was an impulse by for me while on site having my 2013 Optima oil change and front breaks done. I love the car and once I have these issues resolved and 4 new tires she will be top notch. I would have expected more from the sales department though for it was a "certified preowned" car that I purchased, I will leave that to my second review, bottom line is Kia Service Department in Burlington I HIGHLY recommend, ask for Valerie Apple!! They said they had many questionable transactions with them and put them on their black list. Then they proceeded to give me a bill which was substantially over priced ($820.00). I told them I would shop around. Well, I had the same repair done for $245.00. Again, the same repair. Keep them honest. After they give you a quote. Shop it and save. BURLINGTON KIA DOES IT TO ME THEY''LL DO IT TO YOU and laugh all the way to the bank. BEWARE!!! More
Basically, the problem we encountered was with a certain person in the service department., Frank Menc..... in reality, people can be a reflection of a business. We had dealt with him for 3 months over a replacement part that was to solve our problem. He treated my husband unprofessionally, and would not give him correct information to solve the problems. We had to go to an outside mechanic, who solved our problem immediately. we incurred a $200.00 charge. This is poor customer service. More
Initially I was content with Kia. Problem developed when I had to deal with a particular Service manager, Frank. His demeanor was dismissive and he would not assist me with a solution to my problem, namel I had to deal with a particular Service manager, Frank. They replaced the part, but he would not accept inspection station’s solution to problem. He rude to me and said go complain to whomever. I need my car, and I need someone to intervene.Help. More
11/4 I am not happy with the dealership charges 100.00 more for remote control starter. I asked Frank to work with me, and he wasn't listening and very rude. I went back for oil change and was told I would have to pay 44.oo for tie rotation so didn't use my free oil change. I was told brakes needed to be replaced and roughly 500 to fix socket. I went and had a second opinion and found out that brakes are fine but right axle is leaking then fuse was changed and sockets are fixed. Free of charge. I called Frank and explained the conversation and I needed my axil fixed inder warranty I was informed to drop off but I would have to go home and couldn't wait? I explained I would have to wait. We decided to head over to Burlington to look at the brand new Kia Telluride. It was our first time at the dealership & we went in ready to buy. We were lucky enough to meet with Brad who from the begin brand new Kia Telluride. It was our first time at the dealership & we went in ready to buy. We were lucky enough to meet with Brad who from the beginning took an interest in what we were looking for in a new Kia. Brad was personable & had an answer for every question we threw his way. It was definitely a plus that he guided us through the whole process from test drive, Kia UVO hookup, to the financing & he even stayed after hours so we were able to complete all the proper paperwork. Peter also made the whole financing process so easy! We would definitely recommend Kia of Burlington if you are looking for a new car & would 1000% recommend asking for Brad to help guide you along the way! More
