He then followed up with a few land line conversations in reference to what we were interested in. At no time was he pushy, just being helpfull and informative. My wife and I finally visited a couple of the few of the dealers, the last one being Burlington Kia, and finally meeting Ed face to face. From his opening greeting to the finale handshake, he, Rich York & Mike B all contributed to this buying experience being much more consumer friendly than many other dealers. After some give and take on both sides We purchased a Kia Soul at a VERY competitive price & will strongly recommend Burlington Kia to family and friends looking for the brands of vehicles that they carry. Back in june we purchased 2007 durango with 46 and some miles on it,3000miles later we found out back brakes and rotors shot, I called rich york manager told him the problem,He told me brakes were fine not miles on it,3000miles later we found out back brakes and rotors shot, I called rich york manager told him the problem,He told me brakes were fine not their problem,and left me with a big bill and also front brakes need replacment to,I trusted they did the check but they did notand now they dont know me,Beware of that dealership,Also they sent me some copy saying the brakes were checked they did not even have the miles right on the truck If they cant get that right how could they say brakes were fine but in three thousand miles you will need rotors and pads all four thanks for nothing burlington KIA. I had received a loan from a bank and the bank referred me to this dealer and boy what a waste of time. I drove over 40 miles to make the appointment, informed the salesman over the phone I had a check and me to this dealer and boy what a waste of time. The salesman Ed was extremely nice and I would recommend him to anyone buying a car however; I will not recommend this dealership. After finding the right vehicle online and seeing the lot and received a great Internet price we were ready to finalize. Trade was even appraised Then the ignorant manager Rich refused to take the check because it would of cost the dealer a dealer fee to pay the bank. Then he had the nerve to lie to me and tell me he needed to run my credit to match it and see if I was a terrorist. Really!! I'm an American black citizen and worked in this county since able to. I don't think I would work at the greatest University in this State if I was. I would of understood if he told me he could of gotten me a better rate. He couldn't except the fact I knew what was going on and not caught up in his lies. Had I known they would not have taken the check from the bank who referred me I wouldn't of waste my time and the salesman could of been using his time to make money. I felt bad for Ed cause he really worked with me to get me what I wanted. Not once did Ed try to take advantage of me because I was a women. I guess I was just to smart for the BS! Beware of the lies !!! More
