I took my 2008 chevrolet avalanche in for simple safety inspection since I owned it only 5 months.. Results come back 1800$ in work and says need a new oil cooler lines trans cooler lines and oil pan gaske inspection since I owned it only 5 months.. Results come back 1800$ in work and says need a new oil cooler lines trans cooler lines and oil pan gasket. I said simply I'll have to do it another time to save some money for how high the charge is and I am a compitent mechanic. So I priced my own parts ordered all them all for under 200$ het tje parts go to install on my truck and comes to find out I do not have oil cooler lines existing on my vehicle but it has a return to the pan. Wich they wanted 450$ for parts and labor and I'm convinced would have charged me and never done the work. I am baffled on how they would try and pull a fast one during times we are in. I wouldve paid the 1200$ to have the trans cooler lines and oil pan done but 1800 was out of ky budget. I was able to install all my parts myself in 1 day labor for a novice mechanic truck fixed for 85$ and oil cooler lines sent back for refund. Not to mention safety check should be checking spark plugs and all firing components. I just did my plugs wires and coils and my plugs were soo foul and a couple finger tight i either dont think they checked or tried to hurt my motor thinking I'd come back. But theres no chance. I dont even think they touched my truck with anying but a flashlight for 150$ fee. I Not happy or impressed with them . More
Service center ruined my new CAR!! So I bring my new car into Burien Chevrolet to get a new battery put in. It's difficult because they have to take out the passenger fender to get to it. There is also a to into Burien Chevrolet to get a new battery put in. It's difficult because they have to take out the passenger fender to get to it. There is also a tough bolt to get to inside the door jam. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it and they say to be extremely careful talking that bolt out because you can chip up the door. So I decided to have the dealership do it instead of messing up my car. I supplied the new battery and had them swap it out for $95. What do you do when these guys roll it out like this??? What recourse do you have when they do this to your property? I have pictures of the car before I took it in that show zero damage before I brought it to them. There are numerous bolts missing (including the tough one in the door jam, they just left it out) and dinged up my door really bad. The fender is LITERALLY JUST HANGING THERE!! DON'T GO HERE!! More

Bought a truck and was offered $1500 in accessories as part of the deal. When hammer came to nail, they lied about the accessories that I was getting compared to what they offered me. I had to come out of part of the deal. When hammer came to nail, they lied about the accessories that I was getting compared to what they offered me. I had to come out of pocket $650 after the deal was already done. I then took my truck in to fix the rear camera. They said it was fixed, I took it home and it was not fixed at all. Stay clear of this place. More

I did not go into the deal with a good understanding of car buying and ultimately paid too much. But that was six years ago. Lets talk about the service department. There are a FEW friendly people working there but getting updates from the others is like pulling teeth. Communication between the service desk reps and the actual mechanics doesn't seem great. Pricing is high because it can be. They wanted to charge me $140 for a diagnostic when I had a check engine light on. !? It takes a minute and if they had just done it for me, since I was there for an oil change anyways they probably would have sold me something else (possibly even legitimate). Instead I bought my own diagnostic tool off Amazon for $100 and won't ever go to a mechanic again without already having a good idea of what is wrong. I have experienced much better service, communication and even car washes from other Chevy dealers. Go anywhere else if you can. Don finished up my last visit there when the other guy flaked out after not getting me a repair quote while there was still time to have the work done. When I received a quote my car was already in "wash". More
Burien Chevrolet stole my down payment!! DO NOT BUY FROM BURIEN CHEVROLET! I purchased a car from them about 3-4 weeks ago. I put $1200 down, paid for insurance, registration, signed paper wo DO NOT BUY FROM BURIEN CHEVROLET! I purchased a car from them about 3-4 weeks ago. I put $1200 down, paid for insurance, registration, signed paper work, shook hands and then got the keys and drove off the lot. I’m having a baby, and my baby mother lives in Las Vegas. He’s due any time now so I decided to move back to Vegas for about 2-3 months to be there for the birth and everything. A couple days after the sale, I get a call from the dealership telling me I actually wasn’t approved and they basically just lied to me so I didn’t go out and buy another car from another dealership in the process of them actually approving me, they told me I need to return the car ASAP, which by this time I was already in Vegas. I told them I’m not driving it back 20 hours and this their mistake so they need to come get the car, so I provided the address. They told me unless I drive the car 20 hours back to Seattle to return it, that they were going to report the car stolen and I was going to go to jail. I texted my car dealer multiple times and called them trying to work something out so I didn’t have to drive for another 2 days, at one point he told me he was sending a return kit so I could return the car, so I waited a couple days and got nothing in the mail. At that point I texted him again and he just ignored me from that point on. The last thing I wanted was to go to jail over a lie that the dealership made about me “stealing” a car, so I drove the car back to them. It’s now been over a week since returning the car and they will not return or answer any of my calls, they stole my down payment and will not even respond so I can find out what I’m paying $1200 for. The MOST unprofessional company I’ve ever done business with. Who steals the only money someone has for a car right before they’re going to become a parent. Money hungry a holes that’s who. I Strongly recommend no one does business w these people. They do not give a s*** about you, they just want your money! More
Horrible experience. Tricked into $10,000 higher payment. This dealership will put customer satisfaction last, even if it means the loss of much further business. They live only for the immediate sale and for This dealership will put customer satisfaction last, even if it means the loss of much further business. They live only for the immediate sale and for as much money as they can extract from you. I was a loyal customer, having purchased several cars from these guys. They lured me into the dealership with a lease payment “pull forward” enticement whereby they promised to forgive my last payment on my Chevy Volt if I leased or bought a new Volt. I came in and they assured me that they could sell me a new Volt for “not much more” in monthly payments than what I was paying for the old Volt lease. I was paying about $450. By the time the sales pressure was over and all the extras were added, my new payment was $644 a month. I ended up purchasing the “2018” Volt for $49,000 (including tax, license, dealer prep, financing charge and numerous other charges. Then, 2 1/2 weeks after driving the car off the lot, I get word from the dealer and plastered all over my various Internet feeds that I visit, “Huge $10,000 price drop on the 2018 Volt, plus 0% financing. My new Volt, having already suffered the usual depreciation immediately after driving it off the lot, suddenly became worth an additional $10,000 less. I had been lured into the dealership to end my previous lease early to buy a Volt at full price just a couple of weeks before the price was to be dropped by $10,000 and 0% finance charge. Had I waited the 2 1/2 weeks until my lease was up, I could have bought the car for the reduced price. Chris, the general sales manager, told me that he would make things right by taking my newly purchased Volt in on trade and then selling me another new one at the new, lower price. In that way I could take advantage of a second government tax rebate and thereby recover some of the extra money I was having to pay for my original purchase. I fell for this trap and went in with my new car to trade it in and I signed all the papers for the deal. All except the last paper, the loan disclosure, that is. I had been repeatedly told that my new payment would be very similar to the payment I had committed to for my just purchased, and now to be traded in, 2018 Volt. In fact, the number was put in writing by the sales rep I was dealing with. Before signing that last loan disclosure paper, I noticed the monthly payment was considerably higher than what was repeatedly quoted to me. That’s when I was told there was “negative equity” in my trade in and the new loan would have to include payment of that negative equity. “Oh sorry, my bad. I just forgot about that,” says the salesman. Bottom line, I would end up with an identical Volt, after trading in the one I just bought, for even higher payments than I was now committed to. I was outraged and refused to sign the paper. Later, Chris still tried to convince me that I could save some money by doing the trade-in of my newly purchased Volt for another new one, but this would have involved my paying for the car in full up front and this would mean taking a lot of money out of my retirement accounts which would cause me to lose the interest that money makes for me by staying invested. This whole time, all anyone at Burien Chevrolet cared about was selling me a car, then attempting to sell me another car when I got caught in the trap that had been set by Chevy. The whole bad deal was reported to Chevy Customer care but they did nothing. In fact, Chris said I could go ahead and file a complaint with them, but that they didn’t give a s__t. He was correct in that regard. My advice: Do not do business with these folks. Beware of smiling faces and down home, friendly and casual sales pitches and run away from this place if you want to get an honest deal! Oh, to add insult to injury, I never did get reimbursed for my last lease payment, the deal that tricked me into buying a new Volt in the first place, just before the price drop. More
