To paraphrase an old Clint Eastwood movie, my service experience was "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". The Good: Excellent communication emails of "vehicle service video" and "Repair orders estimate a experience was "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". The Good: Excellent communication emails of "vehicle service video" and "Repair orders estimate and work acknowledgement". The Bad: I received no notification when the work was done. The Ugly: Apparently my 7 hours stuck at Burdick Auto Mall could have been reduced to 3 hours! At the end of the day, I was told they texted at the 3 hour mark. Obviously, I received no such text, so I'm guessing they tried to send it to my home number. An honest mistake, no problem, but why was there no follow-up?... an hour later?.. 2 hours later?... 4 hours later? It would be good business practice to review your "action" if it has not produced a "result". Review to see if your text went to the proper number, make a phone call, send an email. Don't let your service customer sit there for 7 hours when you were done in 3 hours. If something unfortunate like that happens, a simple apology would be the proper thing to offer. Sadly, that was not even the case. Please don't reprimand your people. I think they were in shock as much as I was. Instead, add some procedures or best practices to include follow-up. More
This is my sixth Mazda vehicle that I have leased from the Burdick dealership and I would not go anywhere else.
