Great dealership/sales department I have purchased 14 new cars/trucks in my lifetime. 12 of those vehicles were purchased at a certain Toyota dealership. Over the years I got to know one of the sales managers very well and thus, I was treated great, without the pressure or typical dealer tricks. So, I tend to expect a certain level of customer service and no non-sense dealings. Well, my friend no longer works at that dealer and I haven't been impressed with that dealer lately. So, I decided to look at a Chevy truck instead of Toyota. I made an internet inquiry at Santa Paula Chevrolet and Izzy was very responsive. When I found that he had a truck I was interested in I decided to stop by. He was very up front about the price of the vehicle, what was on it, what their charges were, etc. After meeting with him I knew that I could build a repeat relationship with him and the dealership. The purchase took a reasonable amount of time and Izzy even stayed late to help. In fact, the dealer wasn't giving me as much for my trade as Carmax would, so I decided to sell it to them instead. But, I was now with two vehicles so Izzy volunteered to drive over with me and drop that car off. I absolutely recommend him and this dealership. More

I looked into Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura where I felt that they were dishonest and were out to take advantage of consumers who don't do their research. Most importantly I didn't feel that warm and personable atmosphere at Paradise like I did at Santa Paula Chevrolet. William Thawley was helpful from the start of the process from when I submitted my order to when it was built with great communication. William is extremely knowledgeable about his product and expresses his knowledge with passion for the product rather than a sales pitch. He was very accommodating. Jason Pierce demonstrated great leadership over his team and sought out my best options for me without me having to ask or question if it was more to his benefit, I didn't feel that for one moment. This team was genuinely out to help. They say that when you do things for people expecting something in return, you're doing business not kindness. These guys are definitely in the business of kindness. Believe me I never thought I would say that about a car dealership. They gave me not only the best deal in town but the best deal in Southern California and believe my due to my profession I research EVERYTHING. I'm extremely appreciative of these guys. I'm a director in health care and I got out of my business attire into very VERY casual clothing (tank top, slippers, sweats, baseball cap, tattoos, and YOUNG). Regardless of that, I was greeted immediately by Will at the front door and was treated as if I still had my business suit on. I usually dress very casually intentionally during big buys because I like to go with the person who helps me anyway without judging because these are the ones who are out to genuinely help you not themselves. Great people at Santa Paula Chevrolet and I even was greeted by the owner! I would also like to commend Jaime Torres who was my first contact and quarterbacked everything. HIs honesty was upfront and he helped me secure my car purchase which was not an easy find. FYI I purchased a 2015 ZO6 stingray and couldn't be any happier not only with the car but with the service. Izzy Vargas and Larry Lancelle are seriously the coolest guys ever, they made me feel comfortable, relaxed, stress free and they got me an incredible deal on a brand new car. I had gone to Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura the week prior and I felt pressured, rushed, and that I "annoyed" the dealer. When I didn't accept the deal they offered I felt as though I was being pushed out the door. Larry and Izzy put in hard work to get my financing approved and a decent deal on my old car. I seriously LOVE my new car and I'm beyond happy with not only the car and the price but the courtesy that was shown to me at the dealership.
