Service I have 2012 Dodge Journey and bring my vehicle in for an oil change every 6 weeks or so plus I have had other service done on the vehicle. In my almost 3 years since having the vehicle - I have always thought that the service staff (Tim, Chris and Rick) have been very professional and courteous. I have not encountered a problem with them. They have always been very helpful when I have stopped by and had any questions with my vehicle. I have dealt with some not so great service staff but I think Tim, Chris and Rick are the best. More

wife broke down front of buhler where we purchased vehicle first off we got out of a 2007 ford explorer eddie baurer, that has had less problems than this 4 month old buhler ram pickup this truck was represen first off we got out of a 2007 ford explorer eddie baurer, that has had less problems than this 4 month old buhler ram pickup this truck was represented as a 2015, when in financing dept find out it is a 2014, whats a year right just read on. .Bought truck anyway! let me just say this is not the first problem i have had with this truck 1.] drove off the lot after purchase check engine light comes on, 9 days without truck for buhler service dept to tell me the part had to be redesighned by the manurfacturer ,shipped and installed . thats some company (dodge) to do all that in 9 short days turns out it was the shift module on transmission. 2) my tlire pressure, i had to chase for 5 weeks tires would drop to 21 psi, after purchase and get three tires repaired while out on road during that 5 week period.turns out tires where not seated on rim properly. 3) one morning its raining left for work and on staten island expressway I notice water running down the interior of the windshield . ( NOT FIXED YET ). 4) found 3 bolts interior floor of vehicle still don"t know where they came from but seat console seems loose. and now the leatest my wife breaks down in front of buhler bitter dealership on april 4 2015 ON HIGHWAY 35 I am on the phone with my wife i can hear people stuck in traffic yelling at her as they pass by , honking of course no one stops to help. where just 5 moths ago i purchased it , they where real happy to take my money everyone was all smiles than. my wife ran out to do local errands, I get a phone call from her hysterically crying she broke down she had already called buhler bitter explained where she was and she needed help CHRIS FROM SERVICE INSTEAD OF LENDING ASSISTANCE MAYBE GIVES HER A PHONE # OF BUHLERS ROADSIDE SERVICE. so i called buhler on my way to the seen got and told them it was a emergency told the story got put off to truck managers to service where i got chris and a again had to tell what happened and asked him as a service rep and as human being to go help my wife till i get there just get her to saefty .. everyone, offered nothing to help .. If the roles where reversed you could bet a good repeat customer or anyone called in and I got the call granma, aunt, sister, wife, girlfriend, would have been brought to saftey before they could finish thier story.. Than the police showed up from hazlet and call union beach. towing great company, where he proceeded to drag 5 month old vehicle onto flatbed drive 3/10 of a mile on emergency tow , into buhlers parking lot where i am now inside and can here all this joking around about (HOPE ITS NOT ONE OURS, HOW WRONG THEY WHERE) it was one of thiers..i was in This dealership for 5 min not one person asked our tried to help in anyway. and not one person would even look at me they new who i was and still nothing... so i proceed to the back parking lot to meet up with the tow guy mike as he is dragging my truck off the flatbed a tall skinny guy comes flying up to where we where to lazy to walk around back of building he drives up yelling you cant drop that there you have to put it on other side of building i walked as calmly as i could leaned into his vehicle and said that"s what your worried about where we are dropping it not to get out of his vehicle and say is your wife ok , what happened with this new vehicle we just sold you is there anything we could do for you... we got people who yelled and threw tantrums... so this truck managers answer was to ask who sold me the vehicle and when I told him matt f. he proceeded to call him every name in the book ( my wife did not need to hear language like that) after what she had just been through. like matt built this vehicle. i had to stop him again and remind him i don"t see anything on this truck that says matt f built this vehicle but i do see dodge ram stamped all over it. This is to show how, buhler does buss. (PASS THE BUCK.. and this now cost me out of my pocket and another three days one more time into service i will hit my mark on the lemon law my lawyer said and its my third vehicle from them... Very poor service dept I called the service dept just about year ago about getting work done on my vehicle. Talked with the service manager Carlos - told him what I was loo I called the service dept just about year ago about getting work done on my vehicle. Talked with the service manager Carlos - told him what I was looking for - he told me he would get back to me with prices. Well have tried numerous times to get those prices and have never gotten a call back from Carlos. This is no way to run your dept it is almost one year later and nothing still - have since taken my vehicle to another dealership to have the work done. More

Rip Off !! I Visited the dealership to purchase a used Jeep. The online advertisement stated what was included with the Jeep. When we started to negotiate the price we asked if it had ever been in an accident she said no, We then asked for the carfax and found out that the car in fact was in a front end collision and had to be towed. She then asked if we had gotten the price off the internet we stated yes, she then said the price was wrong and she started adding all of the extra things that the advertisement said was done to it that was included in the price.She also was adding the front end alignment that they did. We were totally floored at the illegal move she was pulling to raise the price. I will never deal with such a dealership. Buhler and Bitter is the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with !!!! Seems like a new low for a car sale person. More

Trying to an answer to questions can be difficult. If you talk to Chris or Tim - they are helpful but the service manager needs to be more professional. I would not recommend to take there for service. More

The service department did not convey what was going on with my car while they had it for a week. When I picked up the car from service not everything was fixed and I was informed by the customer service person that since my car was built 4 mos. ago and sitting in a lot I should expect issues. Would not recommend. More

I had been shopping around for a Jeep Grand Cherokee and this dealer was one of the closest ones to my home. Made contact in several different ways online, always knowing exactly what I wanted. But I couldn't get them to give me ANY information at all. All they did was keep asking whether I wanted to buy or lease, or whether I wanted to trade in. This is the reason for only giving four stars on the overall experience. The dealership itself was great. David was a pleasure to work with. He was a no-pressure guy who did very well with sales techniques without seeming overbearing. We talked about the cars, he showed them to me, and then we engaged in a very pleasant negotiation where I got the vehicle for essentially what I wanted to pay. Charlie the finance guy was a pleasure as well, especially considering I was there after closing by the time it was all said and done. Pleasant to talk to, and again no-pressure sales tactics. I am glad I gave this place a chance after a poor experience with the internet team. I'm sure they are instructed not to negotiate online and to get people into the dealership, so I am not mentioning any names at all, just the process itself. I'd buy here again. More
