Buerkle has an outstanding reputation. We purchased our last vehicle from a Buerkle dealership and had an excellent experience. They have a family feel about them. Not a chain-store feel. Their staff have always treated us respectfully and as if they valued us. I've dealt with other dealerships that still play the old-school sales games that repulse and disrespect buyers. I walk out on those. Brian Armstrong was my salesman. Hands-down the best auto salesman I've ever dealt with. Comes across as a down-to-earth person, and one with integrity. Almost more like a friend that is helping you out. Not someone treating you like you're another sales commission. Customer service from everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. This was easily the best car buying experience I've had. The Buerkle dealership is very much evolved. They are in tune with what car buyers want in their experience. I strongly recommend Buerkle and salesman Brian Armstrong. I rated the 'price' as good, having to pay sticker due to strong demand and little supply. I still think the value with my Hyundai Elantra is excellent compared to the competition. More
We have purchased cars from Bill Hartman several times over the years and he is always absolutely personable and looking out for my best interests as well as for the dealerships interest. After visiting a couple of reputable dealers, I went to Buerkle Hyundai to compare costs on a car to lease. This made me rather leery, but leeriness quickly turned to shock as Ms. Walsh apparently thought it was a good idea to share her political views with me!! When did this become part of a sales pitch?? I have worked in the service industry for a long time and can tell you without a doubt that I would have been fired on the spot if I ever had the nerve and lacked the professionalism to conduct myself in the manner that Ms. Walsh did. I have little experience with car dealerships and this was the best experience I have ever had. Bill and his staff volunteered to fill my tank with gas. When they noticed there was only one key they again was the best experience I have ever had. Bill and his staff volunteered to fill my tank with gas. When they noticed there was only one key they again volunteered to go down the street and get a spare made. Another dealer in my home town would not do that for my friend when he asked. Also, the car was not finished with the cleaning when I made the purchase and again they made sure to finish the cleaning before I left. Bill disclosed everything about the used car and I was impressed with his honestly and knowledge of the car. I was very disappointed in my visit to Buerkle Hyundai. I built my car online and knew exactly what I wanted for my Hyundai. Steve convinced me to come in for a test drive even though they didnt have what I built my car online and knew exactly what I wanted for my Hyundai. Steve convinced me to come in for a test drive even though they didnt have what I wanted on the lot yet. After test driving one in another color we decided to fill out the appropriate paperwork. Accoding to the paperwork they had, they should have had one of my specific cars on the lot. I was told this was common and it should be in within a day or two. I put money down to place the car on hold when it comes in. After 2 full days they could not confirm when my car was coming in, but probably not until the next week. At that point the dealer tried to convince me to buy another color I didnt want. Instead of waiting for what I wanted, I found another dealership in the cities that had what I wanted. When I contacted Steve to credit my money back for the down payment on the car on hold, he would not respond to me. It took 2 e-mails and 3 days to get a response. At that point he had a bad attitude towards me and basically told me it had been passed on to the finance department and not to contact him with any other questions. I will not be purchasing from ANY Buerkle car dealership in the future and I am telling friends, family, and anyone who will listen about my poor experience with Buerkle Hyundai. More
My sales person Adam did a great job showing and explaining the details related to the cars in which I was interested.
