We were referred to Buerkle by a friend who bought her CRV. We stopped in to test drive a CRV. The receptionist greeted us and paged for a salesperson. At the front dest, there was a salesperson slouched in a chair, surfing the internet, with his feet up on the chair. He loudly says, How you doin'? Come here and sit down. This wasn't very professional or welcoming for a first impression. He didn't even get up to greet us and simply waved us over and directed us to sit down. We told him we wanted to test drive a CRV. He gives us the keys for a test drive by ourselves and tells us to let him know if we have any questions. My wife and I were trying to figure out the information display and bluetooth, but no one was there to help us. When we returned, he blurts out, What'd you think? We told him we wanted to see payment options and colors. We asked about the bluetooth and display. He seemed very impatient and would leave for long periods of time without telling us where he was going. He didn't offer us any water or show us where the bathroom was. My wife and I just sat there and waited. He finally came back with the payment options. During the negotiations and questions, his cell phone rang loudly several times. He would get up, answer it, then walk around the showfloor. He was speaking loud enough that I could hear these were personal calls. We asked for a better discount and he got all irritated and said he would go back to the boss. After waiting several minutes for him, I get up to use the bathroom and see him smoking on the side of the service area. After the unprofessionalism, demeaning attitude, and him answering personal calls while we were waiting for him, my wife and I were fed up. We left and will never return to this store again. I can't believe they hire people like this and treat their customers this way. Extremely dissappointing. More
As the leases on our two Hondas were about to expire, it seemed like a good time to go in and negotiate new leases for a new 2013 Honda Pilot and Civic LS. I went to Buerkle Honda to turn in our 2011 Honda seemed like a good time to go in and negotiate new leases for a new 2013 Honda Pilot and Civic LS. I went to Buerkle Honda to turn in our 2011 Honda Pilot which had sustained some minor body damage. I did not want the inconvenience of taking the car to a body shop and all the hassle so close to the lease's end. I inquired if we could do the same for our 2011 Honda Civic LS. As it were, Buerkle Honda was offering some outstanding incentives. After I worked a very satisfactory deal with Meghann and her sales management on the trade for a 2013 Honda Pilot, I learned that I could turn over the lease on the 2011 Civic LS with its favorable equity along with other incentives offered by Honda. I decided the deals they were offering loyal Honda customers were too good to pass up. My wife and I ended up leasing not one, not two, but three Hondas! In the span of 5 days we drove out of their showroom leasing three new Hondas! I was outfitted with the new features offered on the 2013 Honda Pilot Touring, and two matching, identical in every aspect Honda Civic EXs for our oldest and youngest daughters. Being a repeat and loyal Honda customer and my previous associations with Buerkle Honda, the sales management assigned Meghann Welch to orchestrate the complex sales component. They put her in charge of my desperate needs. Meghann was extremely professional in organizing every aspect of “The Deal”! She was courteous, very knowledgeable about years of Honda products, and made every step of the process very efficient and willing to work around our family’s schedules. I later learned and was very impressed with the fact that she literally grew up with the Buerkle Honda family. Her father was a top salesman and sales manager with this organization for decades! Meghann, after holding many positions behind the scenes, was recognized by the Buerkle’s management for her talent dealing with customers, and was offered to take over the clientele list of a retiring salesperson. She is a natural. This trait must run in the family’s genes! The whole experience my family had with Megan was extremely positive. It also provided my two daughters some experience on the process of one life’s most important consumer decisions. She definitely has raised the bar on automobile showroom experience. Thank you Meghann, we all love our new Hondas! More
I went to Buerkle Honda to test drive a Honda Fit. Meghann was my salesperson and I was very impressed with her style of selling cars. She was patient, informative, and personable. But what I really appreciated the most was that she did not pressure me to buy a car that day. It took me three trips back to Buerkle before I decided to buy the Fit. This is our 4th purchase of Honda's from Scott. Scott showed us everything we needed to see and gave me a great test drive of the Pilot. He was helpful with the trading of my other vehicle,gave me good explanation of the new Pilot's features. and programed in the radio and blue tooth and expedited the sales process when we picked up the car. Also he called the day after to see if I was having any problems.Probably the most important thing is that he treated me like a buyer, not a women buyer and knew I was capable of making a decision.I have gone to some car dealers in years past (not Honda) but was asked if I could make the decision on the vehicle-I walked out. A great experience and we love the new truck. Thank you Scott. We will be back to see you again. More
