I had a CR-V before so I made my mind up on buying another. The only problem was my insurance settlement was not near the price of a new one so I figured I would have to take out a loan. When I told this to my salesman, Scott Steinberg, he pointed me to a used Toyota Rav4 the had just been taken in. It was in my price range, big enough to hold my music gear, and the price was on par with my insurance money, no loan necessary. I though it odd, a Honda salesman talking to me about a used Toyota but I did some checking around and realized he was just getting me a good deal, had my financial best interest in mind. I couldn't find a similar Rav4 in the city at that price, it was just a really good deal on a nice used car, that you can barely tell is used, it is in immaculate shape. The only worry I had about buying a used vehicle is you don't know what might be about to go out on it. I was relieved that they offered a 3 year warranty at a reasonable price that covers practically everything (platinum warranty). I got that and now I have a great car that runs beautifully and I have no worries about sudden costs if something gets aged and wears out. I honestly hate making large purchases like this because I don't know much about cars and I don't make a lot of money that I can just drop a couple thousand on repairs. Scott really made the whole experience stress-free and made me feel as valued as the next customer, new or used car. I would wholly recommend buying a car from him. He had the patience of a professional for all my stupid questions. When it was all done, I couldn't believe it was that easy, the process was completely painless (can't say that it was when I dealt with other car dealers in the past). And now that I am driving it I see he was right, the car is perfect for me, right down to the trailer hitch and even the factory stereo (the most important thing to me, 6 speakers, no less). Like I said, I would definitely recommend buying a car from him. If I had more money, they have a slick Accord and the new CR-Vs are really nice as well. It's like finding a good hair stylist, I'll stick with him for my next car and the one after that as well (if it ever comes to that - haha). More

We were quite impressed with the service the monte we entered the show room, we were greeted ted by Steve Whitman, who from the beginning to end was attentive, honest and patient, as I could not decide o entered the show room, we were greeted ted by Steve Whitman, who from the beginning to end was attentive, honest and patient, as I could not decide on the color of the car I was purchasing and we made quite a few trips back to the lot to view again. Steve displayed excellent Customer Service; willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were getting the best deal. After purchasing the vehicle, Steve introduced us to Scott Bohnen, Finance and Insurance Rep and again the Customer Service was awesome! Scott made us feel comfortable assured us honestly as to what we really needed and again at a great price. We had some questions on the Tinted Film we purchased for the windows (as they just started this service) and he asked Dudley Peterson to join us to make sure all our questions were answered and the information we received was correct. This was a great little meeting as it also brought Steve back into the picture. This meeting actually turned out to be quite "fun", we discuss the product, answered all questions, which turned out to be humorous at times as we laughed and proceeded to get to know each other better. So the day ended with a deal "sealed" and I felt like we had developed a friendship with all three in our interactions with them throughout the day. What a "win "win" Dealership Team, I felt great as I left with my new Honda CR-V and we had Fun! I highly recommend this Dealership in St. Paul! Thanks Guys! More
I made the decision to purchase from Chris Gable at Buerkle without ever having met him and had the car / paperwork in place before I walked into Buerkle Honda for the first time. Chris Gable secured my business entirely through email contact. It was the manner in which I preferred / needed to operate and he respected that. He was immediately on top of answering my questions, provided just the right amount of "checking in" as I worked through my decision process and there were no games - I was given the best possible price from the start. I was also communicating with other dealers at the same time (some much closer to me than Buerkle) and those 4 things (respecting the manner in which I wished to communicate, prompt replies to my question, the degree to which he checked in with me being perfect - not excessive and yet just enough for me to know he was still there and not making me jump through hoops for the best price) were specifically the things that were missing from another dealer that I was seriously considering. There was also a respectful manner in which he communicated with me that is simply a reflection of his sales style - I felt like my questions were validated, that the process was under my control - both in the choices I were to make and timing. His was a no pressure -very informed - honest - available style of sales. Chris is an outstanding representative for Buerkle. Further, while working through the leasing process I met Scott Bohnen who was another outstanding representative for Buerkle - very respectful, upbeat, informative, worked through things at my pace and was so patient with my questions. Working with Buerkle was a 5 star experience from start to end!! I'd not only go back - I'd send all my friends to Chris / Scott at Buerkle! More

I submitted a request through the Costco program and Chris was the first person to respond and had unquestionably the best offer of experience well. I live about 75 miles away and the weather this winter was completely unfriendly to taking road trips. Couple that with a new infant at home and only one car in the household, getting out to look at cars was problematic. We test drove each type we were looking at locally (Sienna, Odyssey, Traverse) and decided on the Odyssey in no small part because of the excellent price and steady cooperation from Chris Gable at Buerkle. I must have sent him a hundred (or more) emails over the course of several weeks and he responded immediately to every one, answering every question with detail. Most impressive to me was that it was difficult for me to make it their dealership. Coming from Rochester I needed to catch a ride with a co-worker who was heading to the opposite side of the metro from Buerkle. No problem, Chris arranged to pick me up from there and drove me to the dealership himself. THAT is customer service, and it saved me a lot of taxi cab fare (or fumbling around with the bus/rail systems up there which I am completely unfamiliar with). As with the reviewer above, I was also offered all the available dealer-options I might want, but never once felt pressured into selecting anything I didn't want -- this include my time with the finance person (Scott Bohnen), who had all my paperwork ready quickly and handled any late changes I requested quickly and competently. Everything was completely ready to go and no last-minute surprises. I typically dread the car-buying experience and in particular cannot stand dealing with the financing office personnel. In this case, however, i couldn't have been more pleased with both our salesman (Chris Gable) and our finance person (Scott). Kudos to Buerkle...we may just go back there next year to replace our other vehicle.... More
