Disappointed in service department Very disappointed in Buerkle Honda's service team. My 2011 CR-V had airbag recall so I called them to schedule a rental vehicle while I wait for the airbag to arrive. I spoke with a lady to arrange the rental vehicle for 4:30pm on 4/6/2016. I took off work early in order to get to Buerkle at 4:30pm. I called before heading to Buerkle and was told they had no idea what I was talking about. I explained the situation and was told that I was given the wrong information about getting the rental vehicle. They were able to rearrange for the rental car the next day, which I had to take off work early again - this time I was able to get the rental. Fast forward 2 months. Frank called leaving a voicemail that airbag for the CRV came and we'll need to schedule a time to bring it in to get the airbag replaced. I called him back and left a voicemail but he never returned my call. I called again and spoke with Tom. We scheduled to have the CRV towed to Buerkle for repair on 5/31/2016 at 8:20am. Tom told me Frank or someone else will contact me to arrange and confirm towing - no one did. I missed work waiting for the tow truck to come but no one showed up. I decided to head to work being disappointed. I've done my part to get my car fixed; the ball is now in their court to contact me to get my CRV repaired. In the mean time I am driving the rental until my car is repaired. More

Ethical, Honest Service I have had my Honda's serviced at Buerkle since 2004 and always been satisfied but my last visit on April 7th is prompting me to thank Buerkle for bot I have had my Honda's serviced at Buerkle since 2004 and always been satisfied but my last visit on April 7th is prompting me to thank Buerkle for both their hiring astuteness and their training practices. On Monday April 4th I had my Pilot in for an oil change. At the completion of the work I was informed that my right inner C/V boot was cracked. I scheduled the repair for Thursday, 4/7 and showed up on time expecting the replacement to take about an hour with a cost of $238.00. I had hardly settled in the waiting lounge when Louis Hardin, my service adviser, came in to apologize profusely. He explained that when they started the repair , they found a mistake had been made. The boot was fine and Buerkle was very sorry about wasting my time. My reaction was that everyone occasionally makes mistakes and it takes a ethical person to own up to them. He was very clear and thorough and made sure I understood every piece of the leasing process as well as selecting a car I absolutely loved! Potter was friendly, funny and made sure I was satisfied with services. This past weekend, my sister leased a car as I co-signed. I recommended Potter as our representative as I had a great experience last June. And once again, Potter did not disappoint. He was very detailed when explaining what information we needed as well as answering our questions. My sister walked out of the store with a beautiful Honda Civic 2016! Also, our financing guy was wonderful - we had no questions as he explained piece by piece what the forms meant. Will definitely visit again! More

Upselling services. Brought my wife's Honda CRV in for diagnosis on Jan 15 2016 as battery wouldn't hold charge. Tests were done and new battery with 100 month warranty p Brought my wife's Honda CRV in for diagnosis on Jan 15 2016 as battery wouldn't hold charge. Tests were done and new battery with 100 month warranty purchased. Service Advisor (Louis Hardin)reported that timing chain should be replaced for $1000 soon. Battery problem re occurred a few weeks later and again battery was drained and needed to be recharged. I did this at home. Within a week battery was drained. Recharged it again and a week later it failed again. A week later same problem. Recharged it again and scheduled appointment with dealer. Service Advisor Raleigh Morgan said it was time to replace the chain. My wife agreed. However the mechanic reported no issue with timing chain after inspecting the cam. At this point the Service Advisor suggested replacing the starter for $600 to my wife. When asked if this would solve the problem. He said he did not know if it would or wouldn't. I called him and asked him why the battery kept draining. He simply replied that it had been tested and was fine. I reminded him that it was fine because I had just recharged it in order to drive it to the dealership. He repeated that it had been tested and it was fine After going back and forth arguing with this guy who simply refused to listen, I asked him if it was under warranty. He replied that it was but refused to honor the warranty Because............"it had been tested and it was fine" I asked him why he was trying to sell my wife a new starter when he had no idea if it would fix the problem or not and yet he would not honor the battery warranty he replied again "because it had been tested and it was fine". I told him we would come out and pick up the car that evening. It had been in the shop for 2 days now and he had no answers and refused to listen to the fact that I had charged the battery only hours before I brought it into the dealership, the previous day. I asked to speak with John Chavez and he said he would have Mr Chavez call me. Mr Chavez never did call me and I don't even know if he was given the message. Today is April 9th and the car won't start and the battery is drained again. I am going to take it to a local garage on Monday. More

My last couple of visits have not been what I've grown to expect. And after my last visit, I left feeling pretty down about the level of service I received. After that visit, their continous improvement manager reached out to me and after providing her with the details of the visit, she had the service manager reach out to me also. He not only answered the questions I had about the inspection but also offered to resolve the issues that I felt had not been addressed free of charge. More
