Their service department is a scam. DO NOT GO THERE! They invent excuses for costly repairs and have no good reasons when asked to explain. I brought in my car for an oil change and DO NOT GO THERE! They invent excuses for costly repairs and have no good reasons when asked to explain. I brought in my car for an oil change and they charged me for a whole new oil pan when they stripped the threads on the plug, blaming it on an "after market part". If theirs is the "right way" of doing things, NO THANK YOU. I will never go there again. More
Lied on several occasions about costly repairs needed only to have a trusted mechanic at another shop disagree with assessment. Said spark plug cracked, lights on dashboard going off due to use of non factory oil filter, etc. all of which were confirmed to be untrue. My Honda is 2018 with 140,000 miles and very well cared for by one owner. Don’t go to Buerkle for service! More
Untrustworthy, Incompetent and Poor Customer Service. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to in this situation. We called about a specific vehicle we were interested in to see if it was availabl I never leave reviews but felt compelled to in this situation. We called about a specific vehicle we were interested in to see if it was available before we made the drive out there. It was, we test drove it and decided to purchase it. It was a few minutes before closing and wanted to wait a day or two to lock up a loan from Navy Federal Credit Union. They said no problem, put down a deposit and car was held for us. The next day, we were called about having Buerkle run our credit to see if they could match our Navy rate, said go ahead. Found out on the following day that our car was, oops, meant for the GM Juston Anderson actually. He was planning on buying it, unfortunately it was logged wrong and we can’t go forward with our purchase. Our sales person offered to look into another vehicle and had someone look at auctions for a similar car as a replacement. They found a car with higher mileage, not Hyundai Certified and with an unknown condition in terms of how new it looked (the original car looked brand new) and the price would only be $1,500 more than the original car (because apparently the previous price was meant for the GM and wasn’t “real”.) We were invited to purchase a warranty to for another $2k since this one wasn’t a Certified one. At this point I was prepared to reach out w feedback and wanted to see if it was possible that they could honor the the original car sale. When I inquired about whether it had been physically purchased yet, I was told that oops, the car was actually sold prior to us even test driving it. Fast forward one week and guess what popped up on Auto Trader? The original car. And, it was actually $1k less than the price that was a “not real GM price”.). I reached out to our sales person about it and she said that oops, it wasn’t supposed to have been re-listed, it shouldn’t had a price decline and that the “people” would be picking it up next week (not GM, but “people). So at worst, this is some classic bait and switch tactic, or they accidentally or intentionally sold it to someone else, or at best, it means that the entire team from sales staff to inventory personnel to internet posting folks to price setters is incompetent enough to make error after error. I understand that mistakes happen, but if this company is supposed to be all about customer service, I would have expected that they do everything possible to make it right, not find one car that didn’t meet our needs and offer it to me at a significantly higher price - I’m thinking that if I had a deposit down on a car, had a hard pull on my credit and then had the car taken away from me, that they should be bending over backwards trying to make it right. Match the original price by giving me the standard GM discount, offer me a free warranty, heck give me a bunch of coupons for free oil changes or something. Or at the very least, a phone call from the GM to apologize for the situation, would have been very nice. Also worth noting that when we did buy a car two weeks later, our interest rate increased significantly because we had two credit pulls 14 days prior. It was explained to us that Credit companies expect a consumer to rate shop when securing financing for a car and will often count hard pulls in a 48 hour window as one hit against our credit - but two weeks later it’s considered multiple hits so our rates went up everywhere because of “recent activity”. I have to say, Terry Sokolofsky is terrific. He connected with me within minutes of my vehicle request going live, was very straight-forward with details, availability, vehicle information with He connected with me within minutes of my vehicle request going live, was very straight-forward with details, availability, vehicle information with links to CarFax, vehicle history, many photo's, VIN#, and financing options. He did not pressure me at all like other dealers were while I continued to cross-check other cars at other dealerships, but kept me advised of current vehicle status and options via a gentle email. After being hassled, mislead and run through the wringer during my workdays, I'd had enough and spoke again with Terry. As before, he was calm and helpful to provide access to vehicle stock and options. In the process of closing the deal now! More

This is the second vehicle I purchased from Buerkle this year and my next purchase will be there as well. The minute I walked in until I drove off with my new vehicle I felt I was treated like being in firs year and my next purchase will be there as well.
