He wasn't there when Tony agreed, but he should have honored the price Tony agreed to... Tony tried to make it up to me with a free detail, and Sandy gave me an oil change and car wash. They were great, but I was disappointed in the Manager's decision. More
Best car buying experience I've had. They worked out everything first rate and I got my car a couple days later as they had the exact one I wanted coming in. I can't imagine leasing any other car but th everything first rate and I got my car a couple days later as they had the exact one I wanted coming in. I can't imagine leasing any other car but the TL from anywhere else. The car was perfect when I picked it up and Dan went over everything including my navigation and phone interface. The stereo is the best I've every had. More
29 May 2010 I went to Buerkle Acura to see an 2007 MDX, it was advertised as having a little over 65K and when I test drove it it had 67K. The sales rep was knowledgeable and explained the vehicle in depth it was advertised as having a little over 65K and when I test drove it it had 67K. The sales rep was knowledgeable and explained the vehicle in depth, I left without leaving a deposit and he told me that he couldnt guarantee it would still be there as they "hold prices not cars." I told him I would take my chances. On 1 June I recieved a call at work from this sales rep asking me if I decided on this vehicle. I explained I settled on a car with another dealership due to the high miles and the fact that it was advertised as 65K and when I got there it had more like 67K. At this point the sales person (Mr. Petersen) became very unprofessional, raising his voice and said that I "wasted his time." I called back and spoke to his manager who askes me "What do you want me to do abpout it?" If you go into Buerkle Acura and test drive a car and this rep does his JOB explaining the MDX to you and you have the nerve to not buy the vehicle from him beware for a retalitory phone call of strong arm sales techniques and flat out disrepectful behavior. Twice I tried this dealership and both were negative. First was back in Feb of 2002. I was testing a 1997 Honda Accord and noticed the muffler was rattling and the engin was rusty. I brought that up with First was back in Feb of 2002. I was testing a 1997 Honda Accord and noticed the muffler was rattling and the engin was rusty. I brought that up with the the salesman and told me I was lying and if I didn't want the car, I should just say so because he has lots of other custome that will take it. I didn't feel like begging so I got out of there and got a 1999 accord down the street the same day. My second visit 2007, we were looking for 2003 for the wife. We dressed normal (polo xxxx and khaki type) but the salesman made it seem like we didn't have any money at all. He let us test drive the base model and was denied the Type S when we want to try that one. He said that if you don't like this one then you won't like the other one. Obviously, there are veriations for used cars with at least 30,000miles on it so I want to try something before I buy. I understand he may not want people taking these cars for joy rides but we were trying to buy a car here. We went elsewhere and found our TL for $2000 less w/navigation and much better service. More
I contacted the dealership to order a new TL for my girlfriend, who doesn't like dealing with car dealerships. I drove the car, we agreed to pay full msrp. In the mean time, her brother requested a q girlfriend, who doesn't like dealing with car dealerships. I drove the car, we agreed to pay full msrp. In the mean time, her brother requested a quote online through the Acura web site. When the quote came back at less than full msrp, about a $500 discount, I called Chris and said obviously you will honor this on our deal. His response was "we don't include destination charge in our internet quotes." Are they kidding? It's part of the build it and price it process. They then agreed to honor the price quote, but sent me paperwork to the contrary. They walked away from a $3000 gross with $1000 or more of accessories for $500 and were just plain rude about it. I could have cared less about the $500.00, but this is shady business practices to quote a car without the factory destination charge. More
