I was promised $16,000 for my trade-in by Bruce at the used car lot on 1st. Once I researched the cars they had at the lot and decided which car I wanted to buy, I went in to negotiate the price. I was used car lot on 1st. Once I researched the cars they had at the lot and decided which car I wanted to buy, I went in to negotiate the price. I was then told I would now only be getting $14,500 for my trade-in because I didn't want to pay $1,500 more than what they were asking for the car I wanted to buy. Bruce was conveniently no where to be found. This company clearly does not care about keeping their word to customers and i would suggest doing business elsewhere. More
I went to purchase a plastic rear door handle latch which broke (as it often does with a 2002 Toyota Sienna). I had attempted a repair by bolting the handle but was not successful. My wife went to buy the broke (as it often does with a 2002 Toyota Sienna). I had attempted a repair by bolting the handle but was not successful. My wife went to buy the part (roughly $80), but they talked her into getting the whole latch repair done at their shop (despite the fact that I had removed the latch myself). Now, this part is unbelievable. 1st: They refused to return the old part (which I can easily identify with a drill and bit and bolt I had placed). They told her that the part was thrown away in the dumpster and she can go look for it herself. This is violation of Washington State Law. 2nd: They charged us for the part and repair. 3rd: They had "replaced" the latch with the one I had removed and attempted repair. They had bothered to actually put the defective part back into the car and pretend that they had put a new part. I discovered this when the latch broke on the first attempt and I identified the drilled hole with the bolt still in place!!!! This is criminal conduct in my books. The State Attorney General did not want to look into this matter. All I can do is share this information with anyone interested in a crooked dealership. More
