Mr. Miller, while I do understand your frustration with your logistics situation (either to Lawrence where you purchased the vehicle, or to Olathe where you service it), you must also understand that our service department operates as two separate shops. We require no appointment when customers just come in for needed maintenance like your Jetta needed last week (oil change, cabin filter, and tire rotation); this is handled in the maintenance side of our shop. If there are more involved mechanical or diagnostic repairs (like a check engine light on) the car must go to the main side of the shop; this requires a scheduled appointment. We do try to be as accommodating as we can, but we also have limits to what we can get done without a scheduled appointment. Let us know if we can make that appointment for your Jetta.
