I can not trust Buchanan Kia to service the new Kia i bought from them.I bought a 2021 Seltos form them and decided to let them do the oil changes and tire rotation.On 08-2023 they did an oil change and bought from them.I bought a 2021 Seltos form them and decided to let them do the oil changes and tire rotation.On 08-2023 they did an oil change and tire rotation.They did not rotate the tires,how do i know,I put a different color valve stem cap on the passenger front wheel and it was not moved to the back. I just let it go,did not say anything,just payed the bill. On 11-2023 it was time for another oil change and rotation.After 30 minutes they said it was done. I said that was fast did you rotate the tires too.He said yes,I said let me check,he said ut-oh,I looked and the tire was not moved.......how do i know they changed the oil,he said you wanna see the drain pan,I said thats crazy, let me see the video,he said there are no cameras in the service bay, LIES after LIES..........I am finding another shop, I am done with Buchanan More
We bought a 2022 Telluride from Buchanan summer 2021. A few months ago, right around 14k miles it started vibrating around 60mph. It’s very distinct, you can tell it’s coming from the drivetrain. Well, f A few months ago, right around 14k miles it started vibrating around 60mph. It’s very distinct, you can tell it’s coming from the drivetrain. Well, first trip in they claimed the tires were out of balance, so charged me to balance them. As soon as I left the dealership and found a road where it was safe to reach 60 mph, vibration was still there, even though the tech claimed it was gone and test drove it. So, scheduled another appointment. Tech drove it, confirmed he felt the vibration, took driveshaft out, test drove again and said it was still there, so they determined it was a right front passenger side bearing, had to order the part, so I had to bring it back again. For context it’s 45 minutes from our house to the dealer, but it’s where we bought it so I wanted to stick with them, but I miss work for every appointment, and there is never a loaner available. Take it back in, they replace the part and claim it’s fixed, not more than 10 minutes down the road again and first time I hit 60, yup, still vibrating. How can you not test drive a vehicle after a repair, or is it that they just don’t care it isn’t fixed?? Now I’ve missed all of that work and still have a basically brand new car with an issue that is unresolved. Time to try a different dealer at this point. More
I’ve bought two cars from this dealership, loved my salesman Chris. The reason I gave such a low rating is because of Bill in the service department, very rude and unfriendly, not willing to listen, ve salesman Chris. ATTENTION: CHECK YOUR RECEITS, under COST OF PARTS !!!!! I was charged for 2 Rear Brake Rotors, at a cost of $168.20. These Rotors purchased by BUCHANAN KIA from NAPA, on Green St., which sells the Rotors f I was charged for 2 Rear Brake Rotors, at a cost of $168.20. These Rotors purchased by BUCHANAN KIA from NAPA, on Green St., which sells the Rotors for $35,10 ea. 2 Rotors, at Napa's cost, came to $70,20. BUT Buchanan KIA over DOUBLED the cost, charging me for $84.10 for ea., and a Total of $168.20. All for 2 parts, OVERCHARGING me, as a Vehicle Purchaser, and six year Regular Service Customer. PLEASE, take the time to review your receipts, especially, the cost of your parts. DON'T LET THEM KEEP RIPPING YOU OFF, like they did to me. AND if thinking about a vehicle purchase, DON'T BELIEVE their SO CALLED dedication to "SUPERIOR SERVICE", "USING ONLY FACTORY-AUTHORIZED PARTS". Remember, they OVERCHARGED, for inexpensive NAPA PARTS, by more then DOUBLE. I am hoping that my experience of BEING RIPPED OFF, will help others, making decisions, in looking for a more trustworthy KIA DEALERSHIP. More
