We broke our key lock for the locking hubs (bad quality comes with the car and they break all the time). My husband purchased one from here. I have a regular mechanic that does all my work so he was going to rotate my tires. He went to use the new key lock... Wrong one. He said he could get it off but would prefer to have the right key as not to damage my rims. Called dealer, they had it so went up there to get it. Got there, and NO they don't have correct one. My husband told them they needed to rotate tires now at the dealer because of all the run around and we were leaving on a trip early the next morning. After almost two hours, they now tell me they can't rotate the tires, that they broke 3 pcs of equipment, and only got 1 tire off. They made sure to tell me that if I got a flat tire on my trip I'd be screwed. At this point I don't even want them to touch my car anyway. I go back to my mechanic and he beats off all 4 tires in less than 20 minutes, without messing up my rims !!! These guys don't know what they are doing. On a nicer note, they tried to make me comfortable while I was there. More
I was impressed with my whole experience with Buchanan Kia from the time I walked in the door until I drove off the lot with my new purchase. I can honestly say that I have not been treated this well with Kia from the time I walked in the door until I drove off the lot with my new purchase. I can honestly say that I have not been treated this well with any previous car sales or at any other dealership that I have been involved in before and I have made no less than 15 vehicle purchases in my lifetime. Each process with the sale was explained by Ms. Brown in detail to make sure that I was well aware of how the transaction was progressing and she and her Managers, Mr. Langford and Mr. Caminiti were very open about how they got to the price that they were giving me. This made me feel confident that I was getting the best deal that they could give me, something that does not happen very often when buying a car and believe me, I got a great deal! This confidence continued as I spoke with the Financial Services Manager, Mr. Wheeler. He too, was very helpful in explaining various options that can go along with the sale and it was a pleasure working with him. After the sale was completed I was shown around the store and the Service area to ensure that I would not have any problems locating any part of the business that I may want to use. It was further explained to me the "special" services Buchanan Kia offers for when I bring my vehicle in for service at their award winning Service Department. One of the things that I really appreciated before I took my new car home was the "walk around". Ms. Brown took the time to show my wife and I all the Bells and Whistles that come with my Sorento, many of which would probably have taken me quite a while to find and use and she made sure she had answered all our questions before we left. This has NEVER happened with any other dealership that I have dealt with. Since that time we have brought the Sorento back to the dealership for scheduled service. The Service Department was very polite and helpful and made sure that my wife made it to work on time by giving her a ride there while the car was being worked on. They also set up and "meet and greet" for all the new customers and explained many more of the aspects of the Buchanan Kia family. Since buying my Sorento I have recommended Buchanan Kia many times to friends and family, several of whom have made purchases there. I will continue to urge people to come to Buchanan because I believe they are the best of the best in the car sales business. Thank you for this opportunity to give my opinion. More

We came to Buchanan Kia b/c we were interested in either a Kia Sportage or a Sorento. (We selected the Sorento b/c we needed the extra space for my handicap scooter.) We were greeted by Mr. Ken Sherman. a Kia Sportage or a Sorento. (We selected the Sorento b/c we needed the extra space for my handicap scooter.) We were greeted by Mr. Ken Sherman. He was very friendly, genuine, and knowledgeable. He showed us various models in the showroom and let us drive a Sorento on a lengthy road test. Back at the dealership, there was a good selection of Sorentos on the lot and we selected one that we liked. Back inside, Mr Sherman patiently walked us through the paperwork process. He went over every detail and made sure we understood it. He turned us over to Mr. Wheeler. He also was very friendly and professional. He walked us through the final process and explained each step. We never felt rushed. Finally, we went back to Mr Sherman who took us out to our vehicle. He sat us in it and showed us how to use each of the vehicles many features. We left feeling that we were treated very fairly and very courteously. More

Good experince when purchasing car, However after the sale the customer service aspect was very poor. We were out of state buyers and had issues with the title. Part of the problem was that my wife had n sale the customer service aspect was very poor. We were out of state buyers and had issues with the title. Part of the problem was that my wife had not changed her name on her drivers license yet since we were just married, however when we aked the sales associate to see if this would be an issue he said it would not, since he just wanted the sale. The back office employees were very unfriendly and made it seem like we were unwilling to work with them on the issue, however my wife had to contact Penndot to get her license changed and as some of you may know PennDot is very slow and it took a week or so. Once we hade the corercted license they were still very rude about the whole situation. Then two months into owning a new car we are having paint problems. They were somewhat accomodating however Kia was not. They said that our paint issue was not a warranty issue and said that Bird Poop was eating through our paint. However we now have well over 30 spots on our car where you can see the primar all over the car. We live 3 hours away from the dealership and have a small child when we showed up to drop off the car to be fixed they gave us a service loan that looks and sounded like it went through a demolition derby "Slight exageration" but to say the least it had scraps all over it and was missing paint on the rear bumper, also the interior while recently cleaned had cigarette burns all over the seats and the car smelled like a musty cigarette. I am not a difficult person to get along with but when you take them a brand new car to be fixed they gave me a $3M loaner that may or not make it to my house. Most quality dealership would lend out a newer vehicle as a service loaner. I beleive this shows a lot about the poor quality of the dealership. To me you only truley see a businesses customer service when there is an issue not when everything goes smoothly and this dealrship was friendly up front but once the sale was made it went down hill fast. More

I was involved in an accident back in 2012 and just recently decided to start driving again. I was getting all stressed out thinking I was going to have to call around to different dealers, when my dau recently decided to start driving again. I can tell you I am so glad I did because that led me to the best person in Sales, James Carlyle. He was so honest, kind, considerate and has a very good sense of humor. Once I started talking to him I knew I wasn't going to call another dealer. James helped me to get a great deal on my new 2014 Kia Forte Ex with the great premium package. So ask for the package on the Forte Ex, you will be very satisfied with it, and also don't forget ask for James. The office was very clean and organized, and everyone in the staff that James introduced me to was very kind. My experience with Kia was great, but James made sure it went that way. This past weekend I bought a Kia Forte Koup at the Buchanan Kia dealership. I came across their name on a website that listed dealership inventory and contacted Buchanan because they were the only dea Buchanan Kia dealership. I came across their name on a website that listed dealership inventory and contacted Buchanan because they were the only dealership in the entire region that had the exact car I had been looking for. I did not know at the time that they have been ranked number one in customer service for several years across all Kia dealerships. After working with James Carlyle and Michael Wheeler, I can see exactly why this dealership is held in such high regard and has consistently excellent reviews. Before calling Buchanan, I had spoken to about 15 Kia dealerships in the region. Within a few moments of chatting with James, I knew that I wanted to do business with him. He is professional, knowledgeable of Kia products and services, provides accurate information, will call you back when he says he will, does not throw in any hidden fees in his price quotes, and has a great sense of humor. James is incredibly resourceful. If he does not know the exact answer to something, he will call you back after he confirms the right answer so there are no surprises. We were able to work out a deal that took into account my budget and requirements, exceeding my expectations in both cost and customer service. At the last moment, in fact, we uncovered misinformation that I took to be true on several well-reputed car buying websites. These sites wrongly stated that Kia offered a particular feature in the tech package that I expected to have with this car. I explained my concern to James and he was able to work out an offer that I could not refuse. They agreed to install the feature at no additional cost to me because they took into account that this feature was incredibly important to me and my expectations and needs! James and Michael also walked me through every single detail of my finance options and answered all of my questions as a first time car buyer. They are patient and respectful in their responses and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. My brother and I drove 2 hours to get to Buchanan on a doughnut because we got a flat on the way. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I have been recommending this dealership to my colleagues, friends, and family members. I am so thrilled about my first new car and will definitely consider returning to this dealership in the future. Bottom line: go with Buchanan!
