Body work on new vehicle I bought a brand new $55,000. Buick Enclave. Don't buy one! I scratched the rear tailgate on my garage door @ 2 weeks old. I got an estimate for $550. I got an estimate for $550.00 repair at the other dealerships auto body shop. Their are 2 Buchanons in Waynesboro-1 Dodge and other one Buick. They made a appointment and I was told I would get a free loaner car while mine was being repaired. Well I was so excited...so I called the day before to make sure everything was ok. I was told to keep calling back until they have a loaner car fro me. I called every other day and was told they have no loaners. Finally I gave up and thought I try back @ a later date. A month passes and I tried setting up my repair on my tailgate again. Exact same thing occurred all over again! I asked my wife if I could be forgiven for the deep scratch...she said to just forget about the repairs and now it's been almost a year! Now I have a recall to deal with. I will try to get this done at a responsible dealer like Fitzgerald in Frderick,Md! I repeat this dealer is not for you!!! More
don't let them put tires on your car! First of all, buying the car took HOURS and for no reason because I had been approved for the loan within minutes. Never before have I ever waited so long for the paperwork to be completed by the dealership. After driving the car for a week the dealership called and said they FORGOT to have a Maryland inspection done so I had to take it back to have that completed. After a month of driving the car the dealership called and said they FORGOT to put in the paperwork for my Maryland license plates so I had to stop driving the car until they got them to me. I took the car in 4 times for a check engine light problem before they fixed the sensor that was causing it to come on...only after I threatened to take it elsewhere. I bought tires for the car from them, set an appointment to have them put on, oil changed, and front end alignment. FOUR HOURS passed they come out and said, we can't put the tires on, don't have the right tools, but we changed your oil FOUR HOURS for an oil change. Another trip up the next week and it took them 3 hours to put tires on my car. I get it home and notice they SCRATCHED THE LIVING xxxx OUT OF MY RIMS! I called to complain - it took the service manager over a month to get back to me about this. He only returned my calls after I called and complained to Chevrolet about him. Another two months passed before he set an appointment to have my rims redone. FINISHED WITH THEM! That was my 3rd new car purchased from them - never had an issue. Of course, they were Lynn Chevrolet back when my first two cars were purchased. They changed to Buchanan and went down the drain! HORRIBLE service, liars, smart mouthed employees who just really do NOT car about you being happy or coming back. I'm looking to buy a new truck now CRISWELL CHEVY HERE I COME. Buchanan may seem on the surface to be a good place....but you'll find out when you take your car in for maintenance or any repairs - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. More
I have been a customer here for 12 years. I have bought a new 2001 impala LT, a new 2006 Silverado crew cab LT, a 2010 2500 Duramax 6.6 and a 2012 impala LTZ. Mike was brought in to solve at my request a wa new 2001 impala LT, a new 2006 Silverado crew cab LT, a 2010 2500 Duramax 6.6 and a 2012 impala LTZ. Mike was brought in to solve at my request a warrenty problem. I found him to be rude and unprofessional. I have all my maintenance done here. I will not be back. I was in shock at the way he spoke to me. No respect at all to me as a person or a customer. More
Took a 99 chevy van in for an abs problem and after three misdiagnosis took it to a private shop (XLR8 Diesel trucks) they had its figured out within 1hr.
