My impreza was in their shop for four days and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. It wouldn’t start again today and I called them to see if there was a recall for my car’s fuel pump. It was an awesome all-around experience. I visited both the service and sales areas. As usual, the service area staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. We spoke with Mr. Fajardo in sales who was very cordial and answered our questions and concerns regarding an Extended Warranty purchase. Very pleased with this dealership. More
2019 Impreza that has left me stranded because it wouldn’t start after driving for a while. Four days in the shop. Can’t find what’s wrong and it stranded me again today. 30 year master mechanic. Bryan’s Subaru mechanic misdiagnosed my Forrester repair job based on a visual inspection only. Told me I had blown gasket and it would cost at minimum $7000 to repair with no guarantee that more work co job based on a visual inspection only. Told me I had blown gasket and it would cost at minimum $7000 to repair with no guarantee that more work could be needed if engine heads weren’t damaged. Service Advisor never called me back after multiple attempts on this day. Waited till the end of the day to give me this terrible news from a quick visual diagnosis only. Needless to say I brought my Forrester to another independent mechanic to get a second opinion. This mechanic actually did formal tests on the engine (compression test, gas check in the coolant system, etc) and found nothing wrong with my gaskets. He said I needed a new radiator hose, water pump belt and a new radiator cap. He fixed my Forrester for $500 and it’s been running like new for over a month. When I called Bryan Subaru’s service manager Jason to explain what it happened he appeared to get irritated with me for questioning his mechanic. There was no apology for the misdiagnosis or inconvenience this situation caused me. Please be very wary of any repair work needed at Bryan Subaru Service Center. More
