Horrible Customer Service/Lack of Integrity I would never recommend Brunswick Auto Mart to anyone. The customer service is non existent and there is a total lack of integrity. My experience at B I would never recommend Brunswick Auto Mart to anyone. The customer service is non existent and there is a total lack of integrity. My experience at Brunswick Auto Mart was the worst car buying experience of my life. When I arrived for my appointment to test drive the cars That I was interested in I was totally blown off by Jacob Kash. Although I had made an appointment with this man, and when I arrived he was standing around doing nothing I was treated like I was a hinderance to this mans day. Even though I had made an appointment with him prior to my arrival he had no idea where the cars that we had discussed were. When I politely asked to see the cars that I had made an appointment to see he stated that he was not going to walk the dealership grounds to find my vehicles. However, one of the trucks that I wanted to see was eventually located, and I did test drive it. When I returned from the test drive the other vehicle that I wanted to drive still was not located. Mr. Kash again stated that he was not going to put forth an effort to find the vehicle that I wished to see or to find out if it had been sold. He then proceeded to try to sell me a more expensive model truck that was not in my budget. When I tried to politely tell him I did not want this truck and that I was perturbed that the vehicles that I had made an appointment to see we're not ready or "possibly" not available he shouted at me stating that I was backing him into a corner and began to try to dictate how I was to spend my money on what vehicle. I immediately stood up and went to a manager for another salesman. This man is a belligerent, unscrupulous liar who will do anything but take care of the Costomer to sell a car. To say the least he is completely unprofessional. After receiving a new salesman to handle our interests the dealership then had my 7 month pregnant wife and I traversing the icy dealership grounds to find the vehicle that was later determined to "possibly" have been sold. My wife should not have been subjected to this activity for vehicles that should have been ready (located and detailed) before I arrived at the dealership. After test driving our second truck (against my better judgement) I decided to buy the first truck that I had initially gone to Brunswick Automart to see. Again, against my better judgement I decided that after months of searching that this was the vehicle for me, and sat down to negotiate pricing and terms with the dealerships current representative. The first thing that was discussed was detailing the truck before it was to switch hands to me. The truck was filthy and I wanted it cleaned before I took it home. It had water spots on the interior and it was very dusty with large particles on the dash. They agreed to detail it and stated that before I left with the vehicle "it would be taken care of." It was stated that the vehicle would be taken in back and detailed. When I left it was dark and I just assumed that something so small for a dealership to do would be handled correctly. Imagine my disappointment and misplaced surprise the next morning when I awoke to find the vehicle in the same dilapidated condition as the previous day when it was test driven. The next point of negotiation was pricing. Before arrival at Brunswick Automart Jacob Kash and I negotiated a price of $25000 out the door. This price included tax, title and fees. The negotiation was documented through email correspondence and shown to the manager. It was stated, even though Mr. Kash represents the dealership, he does not represent the manager. The manager refused to honor this price because Mr. Kash did not represent him. He would not honor statements made b a representative of the company to get me in the door by an unscrupulous, unprofessional man. When asked what the dealership planned to do to make reparations for their blatant lie to me they offered nothing. We then discussed financing. We were told that we would discuss financing with a financial manager and were told to expect an interest rate of 3.9%. To which we responded that they could do better. Not only did we not discuss terms of financing with the financial rep, but they handed me a piece of paper with an interest rate of 4.3% an insulting rate for someone with excellent credit, and again a lie about pricing and how things are done at this dealership. Financing was never negotiated, in fact they never even discussed it with us.The final complaint is not all of the vehicles equipment were with it. As stated by the certified vehicle contract a vehicle will have two keys. It did not. It takes me an hour to get to the dealership and it will take 45 minutes to program the key. Even though they agreed to replace the missing key they offered no form of compensation for further wasting my time, and my gas money to retrieve a key that should have been with the vehicle at the point of sale. In conclusion, unless this dealership is selling the exact car that you want do not shop here. They have 0 integrity and will not stand by the word of their representatives. They are completely unorganized and will not have vehicles prepped and ready for test drives that are scheduled for by appointment, or, at the very least, make contact with the Costomer so as not to waste their time coming to the dealership because the vehicle that they may want has sold. They will not follow through with negotiating terms of financing and they will further waste your time by not having all of the equipment needed at the point of sale for a certified vehicle, and finally worst of all they will not honor their word, as stated by their representatives, on pricing. I have purchase several cars from this company and brought family there to purchase as well. Recently I brought my dodge for service due to the fog light not working and the back door issue. Since I purchased the vehicle the stereo system went out. Brand new vehicle bumper to bumper coverage. Now other electronic issues. I made them aware of these issues but the service lady Cathy Moyes stated her technician assured her that it was only the light bulb. I told her they replaced it before and it stopped working. She said my technician assured me its the light bulb. I got in my vehical started the ignition for the windshield wipers to come on by themselves and not turn off. Neither of the fog lights work. In traffic to find the blinkers not working, almost had a major accident. The bright lights nor working. Everything in the middle of bumper to bumper traffic. Had my daughter to put her hand out the window at 6:30am heavy traffic dark outside. To try to make the other cars aware I need to get over to my exit. Instead of fixing my car. The service department made it worst. I give this company Brunswick automart a zero 000000 for service. I had my brakes repaired also. It make me question did my brakes get fixed or did the technician just turn the light out. I have no trust in this service department anymore due to this and when I got my oil changed 2 wks prior with a complimentary check. They checked off my brakes were good, by the time I got home in Akron the brake light on the dashboard was on........signed very unhappy customer cthomas More

But he had previous customers that made up their mind to purchase a vehicle and Vince handed me off to the salesman next to him (i think Tom was his name). This salesman was very sneaky, dishonest, untrustworthy and overall left me uneasy and uncomfortable. The sales manager Chris was just as bad and actually upset me so much that I gathered all of my papers and material and walked out in the middle of purchase details with both Tom and Chris following asking me to come back and sit down. That being said, I will do business with Vince and Vince alone, even after my nightmare with the other clowns. Vince is one of VERY FEW salesmen that I ever felt comfortable around. Avoid his neighbor Tom and Mgr Chris at all costs, TRUST ME ON THIS. More

Unprofessional and horrible customer service! Extremely unprofessional group and horrible customer service from all departments! I DO NOT recommend using this dealership! I leased a Jeep from them Extremely unprofessional group and horrible customer service from all departments! I DO NOT recommend using this dealership! I leased a Jeep from them about 2 months ago and am still dealing with issues and problems. They went out of their way for the sale and then decided to screw everything up! When expressing our concerns to the General Manager, I was given attitude, interrupted, and cut off. I will not be using this dealership ever again or recommending to anyone. More

His boss, Anthony Erwin, suggested a 2015 Prius as an alternative due to the low lease payment resulting from various promotions that were ending the following Saturday. I test drove it with Ardell Cloud again and, although generally impressed with the car for the lease payment being asked, I pointed out a couple of concerns during the drive. I made it clear that I wanted to do some research on the vehicle first before I made a decision. Mr. Cloud stated that I needed to sign a document in the interim to price protect me in case I came back to complete the deal and had to put down a $1,000 good faith credit card payment, and upon my asking a couple of times, assured me that I could still decide against it by Saturday. I emphasized that I don't make spot decisions on big ticket purchases without doing research first. Despite my knowing better at my age, I didn't bother to read the document that I signed because at that point, I had no reason to distrust Mr. Cloud, Mr. Erwin or the dealership. After researching expert and consumer reviews of the Prius on line for the next couple of days and talking to current owners, I decided against it. But I also eventually read the document I signed and discovered it was not just a price protection guarantee, but a non-refundable deposit agreement. I informed Mr. Cloud of my decision by voice and e-mail on Thursday morning and voiced my concern about the terms of the agreement, early enough so that the vehicle wouldn't be pulled from the lot inventory and prepped. Mr. Cloud left me a voice mail that evening stating that he acknowledged my decision and understood. He was off on Friday but called me Saturday morning, at which time I gave him my bank card number to credit me the $1,000. At that point, I felt confident enough to call another dealership and give them a deposit over the phone to reserve the alternate choice car that I had decided on. Shortly afterward, Mr. Cloud makes a frantic call to me that "he just got his butt chewed out" by Mr. Erwin, and would I do him a favor by explaining to Mr. Erwin why I decided against the Prius, again assuring me that the bank card credit would go through. I told him that I was on my way out the door (to the other dealership to fill out the papers) and that I would fulfill his request later in the day. The next morning, I sent Mr. Erwin a detailed e-mail explaining why I decided against the Prius, with a cc going to Mr. Cloud so that he would be assured that I did him the favor that he asked. Mr. Erwin eventually called to ask me the same questions that I had addressed in my detailed e-mail to him, and after much back-and-forth and reminding him of Mr. Cloud's assurances that I could change my mind and that I would be credited the deposit, he informed me that the dealership doesn't refund deposits, with no exceptions, despite the fact that I had already placed a deposit at the other dealership. I acknowledged that I was foolish for not reading the deposit agreement while at his dealership, and that if I was permitted to go home, do the research and then make a decision as I had initially wanted, we wouldn't be having this conversation. I told him that I was semi-retired and that I couldn't afford to spend $1,000 and have nothing to show for it, so I asked if he would consider reducing the deposit by half. The next day, he informed me that the owner refused, so I'm out $1,000 even though they didn't have to transport a car from another dealer or didn't have to prep it. They still have the car on the lot to sell that I indicated I would have selected if I went through with the deal. I have to say that I was alarmed by the sour grapes attitude displayed by Mr. Erwin and the way he seemed to be personally offended at my dislike of the car, as well as his repeated expressed disbelief of the reasons I decided against it ("I think there's something else going on here. What's the real reason?") . The moral is to not let yourself be pressured or intimidated by these people, and to read all documents carefully before signing to avoid being the victim of a GOTCHA! Naivety and timidity can cost you big time. More

Before going here I had the car checked out by a mechanic and he told me the code of 606 ECM was the issue. I told this to the dealership and they said OK, it will still be $105 to check it out and if I fix the car that cost would be rolled into the repair. They told me a coil needed to be replaced for $248. After picking up the car and driving for 2.5 days and about 100 miles all lights came back on again! When I took it back they now told me the O2 sensor was bad, $500 to fix. When I picked up the car and looked at the bill the code was 606 O2 sensor. When I called to complain to Mike he listened and then said he would look into it. That is the last I heard from this dealership regarding my issue. I had been taking my truck here for oil changes but no more. Please shop else where and what ever you do don't have you car fixed here or you will pay for items that may not need fixed! More

My salesman, Chuck Brady is a wonderful, honest man. He's sort of retired now, only coming in when one of his old customers needs a car. I call him, tell him what I need and what I can afford, two days later I'm driving out of the dealership a happy man. Sales and service with a smile. Chuck in finance was great as well. No other dealership in NE Ohio can do for a customer what Brunswick does. I will never go anywhere else. I've read the other reviews and quite frankly don't understand them. Things happen. Give them a chance and you won't be sorry. More
