Terrible experience. I have very low mileage and my instrument cluster went out on my silverado. They charged $986 to fix it on a vehicle with 33,000 miles. When asked if anything could be done on the price because all I could come up with was $750 they kept throwing in my face that they gave me a loaner vehicle which I'd have happily not taken in exchange for some kind of discount. I was told to speak to Brian when I got there to pick it up and Brian was extremely rude and condescending. As a single mother who worked hard to buy the vehicle in the first place I was saddened to find out all they could do was take $26 off. I have bought 3 chevy vehicles new and my truck will be my last. I hope that poor customer service and $462 in labor was worth the loss or a lifetime of $35,000 vehicle sales. More
Horrible. We bought a new vehicle from this dealer. Fred was our salesman. Not only was the price $5000.⁰⁰ higher than what was listed on the internet. The guy who appraised our trade in bragged about being the grandson of Bruce Lowrie. Who does that? Then they charge us $500.⁰⁰ for window tint that isn't even on the vehicle. The horrible excuse for a human named Scott in finance says they can put it on for us. We said no we wanted it without tink. Then he goes like a scam artist to the managers and says it has been removed. Well it wasnt. Scott people like you should be burned at the stake. Oh and we waited 3 weeks for our plates to be mailed. We called every 7 days. They just laughed and said someone dropped the ball. Called 7 days later. Salesman Fred said call him the next morning. Called his manager, was told they were in the mail. Called 7 days later and talked to Brett, that idiot laughed and said he would tey to ge t them mailed. We received 9 days after that phone call. Poor communication. Bruce Lowrie has serviced my 2018 3500HD exclusively other than me changing oil once. Oil changes reported to be 1 hour took no less than 3 hours. On 19 Apr I took my truck in for an appointment to cover recall work. Appointment was made weeks in advance. Truck was delivered 30 minutes early at 7:30am. At 5pm I had not received a call so called for an update. It had not even been looked at yet. Picked the truck up after the work was complete the next day. Prior to picking it up, received a call, “glad you came in because you’ve got two things that would likely leave you in a breakdown situation. Both very big.” Pictures were sent of a MAF connector that appeared to be broken and a dirty air filter that was stated to be “caving in and about to be ingested in to the intake.” The air filter was dirty but not caving in and definitely not abt to be ingested into the intake. They would have had to remove two screws and remove the air filter to give an accurate assessment. Got it myself and replaced it in their parking lot before I left. As for the connector, it was recommended for replacement. It took me 15 seconds to slide the protective cover back on. It wasn’t event cracked or broken. Just slid off. Deceptive? Maybe. Something that could have been handled as the tech inspected it for these additional repair recommendations? Definitely. With the inability to keep a schedule and borderline shady repair recommendations with fear invoking descriptions, my business will be taken elsewhere. I actually drive past a GMC dealer to get to Bruce Lowrie. That will no longer happen as I will never go to Bruce Lowrie for service again. More
Took my truck in to get oil changed. Said I needed a new fuel filter. I asked when that is recommended and was told under 10%. I told them to change it. When I arrived, I looked at the reading and it was at fuel filter. I asked when that is recommended and was told under 10%. I told them to change it. When I arrived, I looked at the reading and it was at 30%. They never reset the fuel filter reading. Two things, I will always read my instrument panel and use another Dealership for service. More

$1500 down the drain This service department sucks. I had my son's 2009 Chevy cobalt towed in for repairs on November 20, 2018 - engine would randomly shut off. The 1st This service department sucks. I had my son's 2009 Chevy cobalt towed in for repairs on November 20, 2018 - engine would randomly shut off. The 1st estimate to fix it was $1,047. I repeatedly asked for diagnostic codes and itemized cost to repair which I never received to my satisfaction. After that repair, car was pushed out of service shop - still not running and I was billed an additional $400 for a battery and a Ubec something or other. Jeff Erwin -service manager - got me a $100 discount. We picked the car up 12/15/18 for the $1445.67 and within 4 hours the check engine light was on again. I called Mr.Erwin and took it back in for diagnostics. No real issues found - something about thermostat which controls heating and cooling- not engine shutting off. On Sunday, 12/23/18 - engine shut off again luckily in a parking lot where he was not in a dangerous situation. We took the car back in on 12/26. On 12/27 - Chris in service department calls me and tells me there are 3 other problems causing shut off - new charges. Picked car up on 12/28 w/o having the new $637.00 on repairs done. Contacting BBB as soon as possible. They either owe me 800 for overcharging me the 1st time I brought the car in of 637.00 in repairs free of charge. They are not getting another dime from me and I will never own another Chevrolet. As soon as my kid is out of college - he too will never do business there and I will see to that. Can't drive that car back to A&M for sure. More

I made an appointment they 4 days before I wanted to bring it in and made sure they could look at it that day, they said yes for sure. I got off work early the day before and decided to drop it off so they had extra time. No one mentioned there is no shuttle on a Saturday which is what day my truck would be ready so I paid Lyft to take me there right before they closed. Once I get there I was informed they never even looked at my truck, but they could hurry and put a mirror on that I was going to buy separate from the exhaust issue- so here they are quick to sale me something but don’t want to handle a warranty problem. They never once called Friday or Saturday and never said anything when I called to ask service about a shuttle. So basically my truck just sat there then I had to pay to pick it up. The service advisor could have cared less. I will never return to this dealer and will not ecommend them to anyone. More

I went to Moritz the next day and ended up with the Gm Family First price for a more load equinox than I was trying to get from Bruce Lowrie. Go figure. I didn't have any luck with Bruce Lowrie, but maybe the next person will! Good Luck More
