Horrible experience. Sales people are rude and sarcastic and they always deceive people on every transaction made. Last year they tried selling me a used CX-9 for 19k and they wanted to charge me $800 a mon and they always deceive people on every transaction made. Last year they tried selling me a used CX-9 for 19k and they wanted to charge me $800 a month for 6 years. I went to another dealer and I got a brand new one the grand touring for 52k with a monthly of $600. How does that add up? To make matters worse, I got a coupon for a $50 oil change. I took my old Mazda for a service and I showed the guy the coupon and he said that the oil change was $49.95. The coupon didn’t have how much an oil change was but that I did have to pay taxes. I asked the guy if the only thing I needed to pay was taxes and he made fun of me “of course you have to pay taxes, you’d go to jail if you don’t” when they finished the guy said I owed $50. I asked how can that be? Than he told me the oil change was $100. I argued that he didn’t explain it right but by than it was too late because the service was already performed. When I walked to the car, they didn’t even wash it. Worse car dealership ever!!! I highly advice not to ever go there. I for one I’m never going back there!! More
I went here to purchase a CX-5 Mazda with a very nice sales person who had been following up with me for seven months. I truly appreciated his professionalism over those months, so I really wanted to mak sales person who had been following up with me for seven months. I truly appreciated his professionalism over those months, so I really wanted to make a deal with him. The process began, and immediately we hit an issue when the used vehicle I came to see suddenly and inexplicably could not be found. It was strange, but I continued on and began looking at two other cars. I test drove them and selected the Carbon Edition Turbo CX-5. We enter the office and after a few questions back and forth we get to the financing portion of the transaction. This is where it all went south. First off the car had a sticker price of 32K. Somehow, before my credit is run or any interest is discussed the car is presented to me for a whooping $44k!!! To say that I was floored would be an understatement. I immediately informed them that I would absolutely NOT be paying that much. And can you please explain to me how we got at this number. It was then that I was made aware of over $5000 in additional dealer markups on the vehicle ( trying to justify it by saying ALL Mazda dealers are doing it, but ONLY on the vehicle I chose NEWSFLSH: Not all dealerships are doing that) and over $1700 in accessories that I was told I couldn't have removed unless they found a vehicle right off the ship. And they even attempted to tax me on the vehicle priced with the additional dealer mark up. I was done. Thankfully, prior to going to the dealerships I had already begun looking around and pricing the car with other dealerships so I knew that that price was trash. I gave them one more opportunity to do better with the pricing and they wouldn't. I felt really badly for the salesman who had been following up with me because I really wanted to give him my business, but not to the tune of $8- 10,000 over MSRP. So I left there and went to a different dealership the next day, and I am proud to say that I purchased my CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo at MSRP plus tax, license and applicable fees from a different dealership that appreciated my business. If I were Chris, I'd get out of there. And if you can help it, Don't go to Browning Mazda of Cerritos More
They will try to upsell you after agreeing to prices by phone/email. They will use words like "it's already on the car" and things to try to force you to pay for things you don't want. It took us about 2+ phone/email. They will use words like "it's already on the car" and things to try to force you to pay for things you don't want. It took us about 2+ hours to agree on the price we agreed to by email. Then I had to leave to go out the kids to bed and we decided I would come back the next day to finish the contract. They had the keys to my car to evaluate it's trade in value and they wouldn't give my car back??? And instead gave me a loaner with one piece of paper and minimal agreement. So I left the dealership neither with my car nor with the car I intended to buy...I was in a third vehicle? So I had to come back next day to finish the contract because I couldn't hang out at the dealership anymore. They said they were ready any time and so I emailed and we agreed on a time. The finance manager doing my paperwork didn't arrive till 40 minutes after the agreed on time. And I was more or less ignored until after I'd sent an email asking if I should come back later. From inside the dealership. Because they don't pay attention to their customers once they have you verbally committed to buying a car. (after that email they did give me cookies...and then ignore me for another ten minutes). I decided to go with my own financing and the salesperson refuses to confirm whether or not the dealership has received payment. I find this highly unprofessional. I've certainly been to worse car sales places but this is one of the most frustrating I've found in a long time. More
Awful. They apply a lot of pressure and are basically trying to rob you. They tried to convince us that the car we wanted needed a “market adjustment” because it was a limited car. This adjustment was $7 trying to rob you. They tried to convince us that the car we wanted needed a “market adjustment” because it was a limited car. This adjustment was $7,000!!! And on top of that this place applies the BS paint repel stuff on all cars and says the $2,000 is on YOU because they choose to do this to every car. Ultimately, they tried to charge us $55k for a $33k car. We went to HB Mazda and got the advertised price and no trickery or sleezy sales tactics. Go to HB Mazda and ask for Edmond. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT BROWNING MAZDA!!! More
Do yourself a favor and do not authorize any repairs from the Browning Mazda Auto Status Report without researching the recommended repair costs. Once you do, you will find out that they are marking-up parts the Browning Mazda Auto Status Report without researching the recommended repair costs. Once you do, you will find out that they are marking-up parts and routine repairs beyond reasonable levels. Even routine services like oil changes are overpriced. My advice, If you do take your car here, take the report and have the service done by a reasonably priced shop you trust. More
I would not shop here, they are very high pressure and try to convince you that they are on your side. They're not. Was charged full MSRP, other dealerships were offering $2k-$3k less than MSRP. They didn try to convince you that they are on your side. They're not. Was charged full MSRP, other dealerships were offering $2k-$3k less than MSRP. They didn't include the promotions going on in their dealership, instead I was charged (so make sure to be aware of current promotions because they won't apply them) Purchased a CX-30 here, at the end of my lease, if I decide to purchase the vehicle (which was my plan, they strongly convinced me that the only way we would get to my target monthly price was for me to lease), I think I would probably be paying a lot more than I would need to More

Should have known better We have long avoided Cerritos Auto Square (CAS) dealerships. We've visited various dealers at CAS over the years and always left angry. This time was We have long avoided Cerritos Auto Square (CAS) dealerships. We've visited various dealers at CAS over the years and always left angry. This time was no exception. Ronnie was great while we were looking at vehicles, but as soon as it gets turned over to the manager for the sale it becomes insulting. I had told Ronnie that I had Costco pricing and was just looking at a couple of models to gauge the size of the back seat for passengers. I was not interested in purchasing as I would be returning to the other dealer for the purchase. He was very pleasant and helped me out and asked numerous times if he could have the opportunity to beat the Costco pricing. I agreed to return that weekend to give him a chance. When I returned that weekend I told him what the number I had from Costco and what I needed from them as a monthly payment to make the sale. I had a trade in also, so I lowered the Costco monthly payment by $10 and gave them that as a target. All they needed to do was lower the cost of the vehicle a little below the costco price and/or give me a little more for the trade in to meet my request. Instead they returned with a cost which provided a monthly payment $100 MORE than my Costco prising. Apparently this was their idea of negotiating. I found it fairly insulting. Upon reminding them of the Costco pricing they left and return this time with a monthly price $30 more than my Costco pricing. We left immediately and headed out to Huntington Beach Mazda where we had a wonderful experience purchasing our MX-30. More
