Horrible place to buy a car. Johnny was unprofessional and rude. Regret coming to this place give your business to a company that deserves it. Sold me a car with dry rotted tires, covered them up with tire shine. Absolutely horrible people. Save your hard earned money for another company. Update- Manager called me. Rude, disrespectful. Called me an unhappy person. Highly recommend chosing another dealership. Issues we have had. When vehicle was purchased the dealership wrote into the contract that the car would be tinted. They attempted to not pay and the manager said this was not the deal even tho it is written into the purchase of the vehicle. Vehicle has dry rotted tires. They refuse to rectify issues even tho they lawfully cannot sell a vehicle in the state of Ohio with unsafe tires. Johnny the sales guy who sold us the vehicle was very rude. Made us jump threw hoops and thought we were trying to scam them. I was supposed to be the main signer on the loan. They switched me out with my Co signer, making me the co and my co the main signer. Car has a bad battery. Dealership failed to inform me that even tho they sold me a car with a factory warranty, it can't be serviced by them. I have purchased 20 plus vehicles from dealerships in my life and this tops the worst experience I've had. Do not use these guys. More

Our salesman, Johnny Grimmett is the Costco Auto Program contact for Brown. He had a car ready to show us. We liked it, and asked him for pricing. He produced a cost sheet on Costco letterhead showing the contact for Brown. He had a car ready to show us. We liked it, and asked him for pricing. He produced a cost sheet on Costco letterhead showing the discount as $1,975.00, however, we would be required to purchase a $900.00 protection package. The sheet clearly showed the trade in of my wife’s exceptional 2018 CRV-EX as $18,000.00. The reason that I decided to trade it in was to get the sales tax exclusion. We said yes to the deal, and were turned over to Derek, the finance guy. After high pressuring us to purchase another protection package, which we declined, he produced the buyer’s order for signature. I told my wife to sign. I didn’t look at it because Johnny had already shown me the numbers. Derek refused to give us any paper work until the check that I dropped off the next day cleared. That took a week until I got the paperwork. When I checked it over I got a rude awakening! Derek had pulled the classic “Bait and Switch”. He had changed the trade from $18,000.00 to $16,735.00, the difference being the sales tax exclusion. He and Johnny both tried to tell me that our effective trade in is $18,000.00. What a bunch of bull! Brown is not entitled to any of the tax exclusion. I have asked Johnny twice for a copy of the original cost sheet showing the $18,000.00 trade in. He has refused. All things considered, we not only did not save anything, we actually ended up $190.00 in the hole. In summary, AVOID BROWN HONDA LIKE THE PLAGUE ! Terrible experience. One that we will not forget.
