Chrysler sucks I'm just tired of dealing with Chrysler dealerships period. They are all crooked. I suggest people not buy Chrysler, Jeep, Vehicles until Chrysler tak I'm just tired of dealing with Chrysler dealerships period. They are all crooked. I suggest people not buy Chrysler, Jeep, Vehicles until Chrysler takes a long look at the service being provided by there dealerships. I've been to about 4 dealerships and it's the same crooked nonsense. Manhattan Jeep Chrysler being heads and tails above the rest when it comes to shady dealings. I regret ever buying a Jeep and just can't get rid of it fast enough. From day one of owning a Jeep with a lifetime extended warranty. I've nothing but problems from the dealerships. The first day I took in my jeep for a oil change and was charge 200 dollars. Yes' you read that right 200 dollars for a oil change. I complain about the price and even wrote a letter to Chrysler. Magically the price went down to 60 bucks. Next I was told my Transmission had filings and that it needed to be replaced the car was only six months old at the time and they wanted to charge me 2000 bucks and said the warranty wouldn't cover it. Yea I didn't fall for that, I took the car to my regular mechanic to see what was the problem and he laughed, there wasn't a thing wrong with the transmission it was brand new. I decided to look for a new dealership in the mean while I had a problem with car not starting or shutting off of course Manhattan Jeep decide to try to sell me a new battery when the car was once again less the 7 months old surprise surprise. Turn out it was a lose connection with battery terminal, somebody failed to tighten the battery terminal and it came lose also they didn't put back two of the hoses which made the car idle extremely hard and it had lost power. Simple fix I retighten all the connection and car worked fine. I went to Brooklyn jeep because of a recommendation from my brother. And up until a month ago things were ok until I needed my blend door for my heating and so the fun begins they made a simple 30 min fix take nearly 3 weeks. Each time they said it was fixed I would come and the car wasn't even put back together properly the center console was very loose they failed to protect my interior so their was grease all over my head liner and seats and I have a cream interior so yea job was horrible and I couldn't even get a loner car from them while all this was happening. They also vented all the heat through my center console which made extremely hot. You couldn't even touch it. They decided to change the entire box instead of just changing the blend door motor. After going back and forth for nearly 3 weeks to get this simple fix. I've decided I'll most likely sell my Jeep and pick up something from some other dealership after I do some research I'm just tired of the nonsense and the horrible work done by these so called experts. More
Do NOT take your car here for repair. The service center does not provide “service”. The advisors are usually nice, but I have never dealt with a group of mechanics that don’t actually fix what’s wrong with does not provide “service”. The mechanics diagnosed my vehicle, told me what they believed was wrong, and told me how much it would be to fix it. I pay them over $2400, go and pick it up and can’t even drive my car off the block. They then told me they had to keep it and it would be an additional $785 for engine work. The car STILL doesn’t drive after paying them over $3,200 in total. Save yourself the frustration and don’t even deal with them. More

I called Friday and Spoke to Mr Eric Williams who made an appointment for Sunday 4 Pm. I got there and Eric was ready for me all smiles. I was taken in right away and was offered coffee and danish and a quiet place to wait. any other questions I had on the car were checked out and addressed right away. I was thanked for coming in and was treated like a king. Really a great crew and boss they have there. The problem was found at this location and they found the solution and now all Chrysler vans are getting this fix. Eric Williams is a really special person who makes sure I was comfortable and taken care of ASAP he is amazing and all with a real smile. Thanks saul Kohnfeil...... More
HORRIBLE SERVICE AND UNNECESSARY REPAIR HORRIBLE SERVICE. EVERY TIME I TAKE MY CAR IN THEY KEEP MY CAR FOR 5 DAYS AND DO NO WORK UNTIL THE END OF THE WEEK. THEY NEVER KEEP YOU UPDATED AND I HORRIBLE SERVICE. EVERY TIME I TAKE MY CAR IN THEY KEEP MY CAR FOR 5 DAYS AND DO NO WORK UNTIL THE END OF THE WEEK. THEY NEVER KEEP YOU UPDATED AND INFORMED ON YOUR VEHICLE, YOU CONSTANTLY HAVE TO CONTACT THEM FOR PROGRESS REPORT. IF YOU DON'T CALL THEM TO GET INFORMATION THEY DON'T DO ANY WORK. THEY DO A LOT OF APOLOGIZING OVER PHONE. THEY TELL ME CAR WON'T BE READY TILL MONDAY BECAUSE THERE CLOSED ON FRIDAY AND DO NO SERVICE OVER WEEKEND. MY CAR IS HELD HOSTAGE BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEM ONE OF THE REPAIRS IS TO HAVE A RADIATOR HOSE REPLACED AND MY CAR WON'T PASS INSPECTION DUE TO ALL KINDS OF CODES COMING UP. SERVICE MAN TELLS ME THAT ALL THAT TAKES TIME BECAUSE THE RADIATOR HAS TO BE FLUSHED AND DRAINED. INITIALLY HE TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR WHEN I TOOK THE CAR IN AND THAT IT WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AT WHICH POINT I DECLINED. NOW ITS PART OF THE EXCUSE WHY I CAN'T TAKE MY CAR. LAST TIME I WAS THERE WITH MY PREVIOUS VEHICLE FOR REPAIRS THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY BRAKES AND A ROTOR AND IT WOULD COST OVER $1000.00, I KNEW IT WAS A LIE BECAUSE I HAD HAD THE BRAKES AND ROTORS REPLACES 4 MONTHS EARLIER. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK IT TO MAVIS BRAKES. THEY INSPECTED THE CAR AND TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH BRAKES AND ROTORS, THE MAN AT MAVIS SAID THAT HE GETS A LOT OF COMPLAINTS FROM CUSTOMER WITH SIMILAR ISSUES. THAT BROOKLYN CHRYSLER WANTS TO DO UNNECESSARY REPAIRS TO MAKE MONEY OFF CUSTOMERS. MY NEXT STEP IS TO CONTACT THEIR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS AND NOTIFY THEM OF MY COMPLAINT. They beat all prices I have just signed my second contract with Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge for another 3-year lease and the dealership should thank there service director,Daniel I have just signed my second contract with Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge for another 3-year lease and the dealership should thank there service director,Daniel Wallace, for my loyalty to them. He has made everything easy and simple over the last few years when it comes to maintenance/service on my vehicle. I know other dealerships have long waits for customers to bring their cars in for maintenance, but Daniel has never wasted my time or money during any of my visits to the shop. He alone is the reason I have re-signed with them and feel stress free with thoughts of future maintenance visits. More

I live in NY and I Lease my 2018 Dodge Durango GT through a leasing agency. I was in NJ last weekend (as you all know NJ is the only state that doesn't allow drivers to fill up their own gasoline, an attendant must do it) and went into a gas station to fill up (I have the receipt) and drove away. I had used the car for that drive from NJ to NY and for a couple days following. Parked my car outside my house in NYC on the night where the polar vortex was to take place. Outside temp real feel were about -20 at the time. The next morning my car wouldn't start, my personal thoughts was that the cold was causing this problem to occur, however the next day when it was slightly warmer (6 degrees) the car wouldn't start either, I had called dodge and they told me that they arranged roadside assistance to tow my car to the nearest dealership. The tow truck arrived and towed my car to Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM and this is where the whole scam/nightmare began. I first arrive at the dealership, and their initial response was they cannot take the car in. After arguing with the service Rep back and forth, the service manager Dan (whom was very courteous) came to talk to me and see what he can do for me. They had called dodge to ask why they would send the car to this dealership without an appointment (understandable). We had worked it out and they agreed to take the car in. Shortly after dropping my car in the dealerships lot, I had the OWNER of the dealership come up to me and lecture me that I didn’t lease the vehicle from HIS dealership so that is why he was hesitant to accept the vehicle. The way I see it is, IF THE DODGE HAS A DODGE SYMBOL ON THE VEHICLE IT DOESN’T MATTER WHERE IT WAS LEASED FROM, SERVICE THE xxxx CAR. Diagnosis came in the following business day claiming that my gasoline tank was filled with Diesel fuel and saying that doing this has voided my warranty (on a car that isn't even 1 month old) and that I would have to pay $1500 out of my own pocket because they claimed my tank was filled up with diesel. Not understanding how this was possible, I had contacted the Gas Station that I had last filled up gas at, to my surprise they don't even offer Diesel Fuel, and this was the last time I had filled up the car. Right now I’m in line to pony up $1500 that I don't have, for a scam. If I were to go through my insurance company to fix the issue, I’m risking my insurance rates to surely rise, so I’d rather avoid that route. When I told the service department that it was IMPOSSIBLE that I had filled diesel fuel in my tank for two reasons, One being that the gas station that I filled up in last A WEEK BEFORE doesn’t even offer diesel, and two, the diesel fuel nozzle does not even fit in my gas tank. When I went to the dealership he (miraculously) dropped the price suddenly to $495 instead of the $1500 he originally offered. Originally dodge allowed me to get a rental car on their account, and because they stated my car as “customer fault” and not warranty fix, I had to pay for the rental car in full as well. Dodge corporate obviously put the dealership ahead of the customer because if the car was spiked with diesel, there is nothing that I could have done at that point. I ended up paying $495 + $380 for 4 days car rental. All in all this dealership was a huge scam and I do not recommend ever coming near them unless “you leased or bought the vehicle from them”. More

The two girls who answer phones are equally as bad. They rush to put you on hold before you even finish your question. After 4 separate calls and being on hold for 20 minutes each time I decided to drive to dealership and handled it myself. I would like to point out Dan in service SAVED THE DAY. Total professional and showed that he cared. Sorry for the bad review but it is all justified. More
