I agreed on the terms of a lease with a manager (Alex) and salesperson (James). They told me that they value me so much as a customer that they got special approval from the owner for this deal. Heck, even the vehicle was different! They think that people are so desperate to get a new car that they would just agree to anything. Needless to say, I did not sign that agreement. After declining, another manager (Raphael) called me to try to convince me to sign the agreement. Obviously, I still did not do so. The most important factor to me is dealing with honest people. However, the van wasn't inspected until today, 02/21/2024, after many days from my appointment time. The car service management mentioned a large backlog, but I had a specific appointment booked in advance for 02/16/2024 at 12:10 pm. There seems to be a problem with queue in the service, causing significant losses to me personally. If the service is unable to attend to the car, then they should reschedule for a time when they can accommodate it. This issue originated from the recall of manufacturer, which led me to contact the official service. I strongly advise against dealing with this dealer! Also, despite the fact that I unchecked a box to allow my information to be shared with third parties, my information was still shared. I now receive about 20 spam calls a day and multiple junk emails and junk mail sent to my home. Also received a letter from Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram stating they never ran a credit report for me, meanwhile I have a confirmation email they did as well as the negative marks on my credit report.
