I test drove a 2011 Subaru hatchback 2.51 premium with 59,000 miles. I liked the car but the brakes did not work well. I asked Peter to fix the brakes before I drove it to my mechanic to have the car chec 59,000 miles. I liked the car but the brakes did not work well. I asked Peter to fix the brakes before I drove it to my mechanic to have the car checked. He was agreeable and the car was ready to drive 3 days later. Peter gave me a vehicle history report which said the car had never been in a serious car accident. I got my own carfax report which said the car had sustained moderate to severe damage in the past and recommended it be seen by a collision specialist. The person I took it to noticed a few things he thought should be repaired before buying the car. He said the steering wheel did not lock in place, the AC didn't work and to ask the dealer why there was a leak in the rear of the car. Peter was not there when I returned the car so I gave info to other salesman. Both men had been quite nice until I asked for more repairs. I was interested in buying the car, had left a deposit and said I would pay cash. Peter called me early evening. He wanted me to buy the car and I said I would as soon as it was repaired. I waited 3 days before calling him back to see if car was ready. (At this point it was a week and a half since I first drove the car. I was very interested and had stopped my car search). Peter said his partner sold it and he just found out! He said we couldn't keep waiting for you and I said I'd been waiting on him to have repairs done. He said we have a lot of cars and have to keep them moving. I was very angry. I'd spent time and money to make sure the car was safe. He said we have other cars! I don't recommend going to Broadway Auto Sales. More

I was Called Immature I saw a car that I liked on Craigslist the other day and I called the dealership. Their phone message box was full, so I emailed them asking for more I saw a car that I liked on Craigslist the other day and I called the dealership. Their phone message box was full, so I emailed them asking for more information. It took THREE days before someone actually contacted me. Despite this, my husband and I were still very interested in the car, so just to be on the safe side we looked up the Google reviews. My husband read some rather upsetting things such as how they charged one guy a $600 paper work fee.. as well as how they had been taken to court for using shoddy parts on other cars. Based on this we chose not to go. I was irritated that I had been forced to wait three days, and so I wrote this email to Tom Narekian: I told my husband about the car we had been looking at THREE days before, and after seeing your reviews on Google we have decided that buying from you guys would not be wise. The amount you charge just to do paperwork ($600? really?) is ridiculous and we're not interested in having to take you guys to court for shoddy parts, both of which were things referenced on the yelp reports. On that basis we'll be buying from anyone but you guys. Also, thanks for making me wait three entire days before getting back with me. I'm sure you were doing something really important, and you might want to empty your phone message box from time to time, or use all the money you get from that $600 paper work fee to buy yourself a receptionist. TL;DR: The internet says you suck. :) -Heather Tom responded with: Heather, we don't have a $600 paperwork fee. We sell 500 cars per year. Less than 1% of our customers have a complaint. From your email, you seem very immature so good luck to you and your husband. I have sent my final email to them which reads: Dear Tom, The fact that you even responded to me and pointed out that I'm "Immature" just goes to show you how UNPROFESSIONAL you are. :) Plus I'm irritated because I had to wait for your response. I would have been willing to see the car that day had you responded quicker. You can't argue with the facts. I trust Google to make my business choices, the fact that you are so defensive just goes to show how obvious it is that the reviews are true. Rest assured I'll be twittering about these emails. :) Lol, it's cute that you took the time to respond to me. This must be the reason you're phone messages are backed up. TL;DR: The internet still says you suck, and you should learn not to feed trolls. -Heather Clearly if this is how they are going to treat me in an email, I can only imagine what I would have gone through had I actually ignored what Google said and gone to the dealership. I wish Tom Narekian the best of luck with his sales career, perhaps as he grows up he'll learn how to deal with people. UPDATE: I informed Tom after I posted this review so that he could take the time to read it. That night between the times of 1:41am and 1:46am, I got EIGHT anonymous calls to my cell phone. Luckily I sleep with the volume off so it didn't disturb my sleep, but since I don't list my number online, and considering his level of maturity it wouldn't surprise me to find out he was just showing how angry he was. While I can't say for sure it was him, the fact that this happened so close to my posting the review is uncanny, and I currently have the police investigating these calls. Should they be linked to him, I'll be charging him with harassment. :) So beware, this guy has the maturity level of a 12 year old and he's willing to harass you if you refuse to buy a car from him. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. More
