I received a recall and quickly received a date to work the problem. I brought the car in for a recall but when I came back to pick it up, I was handed an invoice for the recall plus a maintenance service. the problem. When I asked what was included in the maintenance service I was told an oil change and tires rotated. I told the man the car was not due an oil change nor did I ask for the tires to be rotated and I only brought it in for the recall notice. He left and came back saying there was no charge and I was free to go. I thanked him and left. More

I went into Britain’s for a routine oil change and system flush. I was told that I had two small oil leaks, which I relied that I hadn’t seen any evidence of an oil leak. I was told you have two small and they will get worse if not fixed. I took the advisors word and agreed to have the oil leaks fixed. The progress was supposed to be completed that day. The advisor called and said that they didn’t have a chance to get to my car that day and they needed to keep it longer. I would have a loaner that I had for five days, until my car was ready. I go for my car on a Friday evening and didn’t even leave the bay area and my check engine light was on, I tell the service person about the check engine light being on, he puts a scanner on my car, ran it for a couple of minutes and the check engine light goes off. I didn’t even make it home and the check engine light come back on. I took the car back that Saturday morning, I was told it was a sensor that was out and they changed it at no cost, ‘problem fixed I thought’, the check engine light came on again about a week later April 3. More
