I had to remotely observe the vehicle before the purchase, as I live quite a ways away. I was trusting that the condition was in decent shape, since the “like new” comment was used. It was for the m purchase, as I live quite a ways away. I was trusting that the condition was in decent shape, since the “like new” comment was used. It was for the most part, but there was some typical dings/scratches/wear for a preowned car, but wouldn’t say “like new”. I did ask specifically if there were any mechanical or electrical issues. I was told that there was not, but there is a problem with the passenger side high beam, a warning on the dash says it’s inoperable. I also asked if it was a non smoking vehicle, and was told it was not. Once I physically saw the vehicle, I could tell that there was a smoking previous owner. It was faint, but noticeable. I was also severely pressured to use in-house financing, even though the rate with a creditor I always use had an unbeatable interest rate, to the point that that told me they could not complete the sale without me using their financing, but later changed their mind. After flying to the location, I thought the process wouldn’t take too long, since I had payment in hand, but it took almost 4 hours to speak with the financing manager, and then the cashier couldn’t figure out the computer software to cash me out. It was an extremely long process, and had a 5+ hour drive back home pending. Before arriving at the dealership, I informed the salesperson that I would be bringing my own license plate to transfer, hoping it would also expedite the process. It did not, and was also charged over $150 for an unknown license fee, which should have not been added, or at least reduced since I provided my own plate. I was told that I “might” receive a refund for the difference, but highly unlikely. After a tiring day of traveling to the dealership via flight and hour Uber, waiting over 4 hours for processing the sale, I was finally ready to leave… but was told there was only 1 key fob (even though I asked prior), and there was a Fuel tank BELOW E, for my 5+ hour drive back. What a treat. I definitely didn’t envision the process to be so long, and have been misled several times. It’s quality and trust that keeps a customer coming back, just wish I could have boasted about those qualities here, but they fell short, so I cannot say honestly that I would refer someone to this dealership and have them go through the grueling process. Other than that, I do like the vehicle. More
